Love the feel and look of this legendary Omega Brand watch---did not give it a 5 star rating because was advertised as the Blue color model but was delivered the black model---still kept it because of look---also the "Red Dot" on back of watch to validate that watch was not opened from manufacturer (Omega--was advertised as new) was not present---- I assume since watch warranty is with Amazon and not Omega that back was opened by subcontractor seller

10 years ago if you would have told me if I would be in love with a two tone Rolex Datejust I would have laughed!. Fast forward to 2021 and here we are with this beauty strapped to my wrist. I had been considering picking up a piece with some gold in it and was drawn to the classic Datejust with the fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. I stopped by my dealer to inquire and they happened to have this configuration with the newly released fluted motif dial and boy is it a looker!

Overall, the watch is solid. Took it swimming in the gulf and no water leak. Wore it with jeans and shorts as well as with shirt and tie. It was thin enough to fit under my dress shirt sleeve

The Datejust is such a versatile piece, as it’s lowkey enough not to be mixed with the Submariner gang, but it’s robust enough to play in the same league. Its timelessness is what keeps me from acquiring new watches, the design just works! You can work in the garden, wash the dishes or dress it up with a suit, it’s always right. Although I love the blue dials on Rolexes, I must say the white dial is just more versatile when it comes to day to day use.
