I couldn't convince myself to spend $70 on the olight S2R Baton but I wanted a nice purple light so I ordered this convoy S2 plus. The first time I ordered from gearbest but after a month or so it never shipped so I had to cancel and ordered it from AliExpress. First impressions are pretty positive. It feels well made I like the metal push button on the tail 

My Convoy S2+ finally arrived...I love it.

 With quick reacting, I yelled at the would be intruder and as he turned around I activated the turbo setting and immediately aimed it toward his face, to which he responded by immediately hiding his face with his hoodie. For fear that he may have had a weapon on him, I continued to shine the turbo onto him so as he would not have visual confirmation on me. As he left my front door he attempted to break into another building across the street to which, acting out of pure adrenaline I chased him across the street and this time activated the strobe light causing him to abandon his attempt and fled, still covering his face with his hood as he could not function with the strobe on him. Several other events occurred after this, but they would be irrelevant to this review

I did not carry any of my usual EDCs with me as I only left for a few minutes to get some fresh air, but I always carry my Olight SR2 no matter the time of day or occasion. I absolutely love the size! This small light is very durable and the magnet is strong. Unfortunately the one I purchased the battery didn't last long. Only other negative I have is I wish they would incorporate a power button on the bottom. (I used it for a night fire drill and the small power on the side was annoying)

**Switch Type**: Light must be easy to hold and press with one hand. I think side switch is better than tail but not much preference here.

 It'S excellent overall, and i think a lot of people would be extremely happy with it. The dual beam light is somewhat of a different beast altogether: it's beyond the scope of this video to debate the merits of single verse, duel channel. But honestly, i don't think it makes that much of a difference in real world use having the ability to switch from flood to throw is super nice. I really do like it, but i feel there's no major advantage to this system when something like the w-2 realistically covers both needs

 This thing is awesome, it's just so stupid bright and has tons of reach, making it super fun to use at night using it feels kind of like wielding some sort of legendary blade of light.  These lights are limited to the combined maximum regulated level of their respective 18 amp and 10 amp drivers using a cell without enough discharge won't net you as much output, but a cell which can exceed the max regulated level, won't gain you anything. Naturally, these lights run very hot and output will drop rapidly on turbo. The w2 light in particular sees a steep decline over the first 25 seconds of its run and drops from 6000 to 500 lumens before leveling off at a thousand lumens after one minute. The other two lights see a much more gradual fall from their maximum outputs running from turbo

 Unlike those smaller lights, the larger host has greater thermal mass to allow for higher sustained output, while the larger cell can provide a higher constant discharge current. Thus, in practice there are a few more lumens to be squeezed out of the light and it will hold more output for a longer period of time. The fet allows for the cell to directly drive the main leds on turbo. This is a really great match for the w2s, as they are both very efficient and have a super high maximum output with a powerful enough cell

 If you're gon na do the shorter body, then it has a battery that will fit in the shorter body and this guy look at that's a chunky guy. What do we have right here? Yeah there's the information there and it doesn't say exactly what it is, but that's the battery that's going to fit with this body, so that's cool. I think the short body would work well on this guy, because this thing is big. This is a chunky boy, but i kind of uh i kind of like that

Unboxing the Emisar D4SV2 - A BEAST of a Flashlight!

At Medium, the torch is throwing enough light that I'm beginning to question whether a 1600 lumen output could be the sort of thing that might require a permit or license to operate, but I'm unwaivered: I have to know how bright this is, so I tap the setting button up to High.

Don't look for other products, just buy this. Buy ten of them and strap them together if you need to replace a lighthouse, a star, the light from an arc welder, or perhaps some sort of research-grade lighting apparatus used to test light absorption of materials like Vanta-Black or Black 2.0. This is the best possible lighting experience you can get for the money and if, like me, you are one of those poor fools who thought an LED Mag-Lite was bright, you can join the Brotherhood of Bright, Flashy Things and spread the gospel of Fenix lights and what it means to send darkness fleeing

I purchased this flashlight because I saw the outstanding performance from other Fenix products my father owns and from the lasting shame and disappointment that comes with realizing a 3 D-cell LED Mag-Lite just isn't all that bright. I love this light.

Now the battery he gave me here is a vape cell

 So now, while i've got it taken apart, we're going to go ahead and put it together with the smaller battery tube. Here now the color doesn't match exactly that's: okay, strong magnet on that i'll show that to you a little bit, that's what that looks like, and that is talk about a stubby huh definitely does have an interesting look. Well, now we're going to go ahead and put the other barrel back on here, see how strong this magnet is so definitely not going to drop the little battery and we'll put it all back together and we'll start taking a look at it here, a little more Closer, so we already know what the battery is, that i'm going to use in my testing all right now that that's all back together. Now, let's go ahead and go over the light

 As you can see, it makes those way out there a little pocket rocket here, trying not to get wet earlier and we're gon na raise it back up now we're gon na go ahead and do turbo see how long i can handle it. There'S turbo kind of drowns out the camera a little bit which is expected, but it light up at the end of that light, beam, easily lights up. My testing area here 238 feet there. Now it is cycling down, so we can do turbo again
