Disco Elysium Final Cut Available Now On Nintendo Switch

 As an avid gamer who usually ends up buying all the consoles (except the xbox one) and loves the hardware behind these machines, the switch was super cool when I first heard about it and saw it. I got one not to long after release once they came back to my area. Though it took awhile to save up for any games as during that point in its life, everything was expensive on it and 3rd party devs hadn't moved to it yet. Also there were no media apps on it besides hulu which somehow is still a thing, surprising

 The reason games usually feel more expensive on the switch is because they more often then not are. This is due to the game cartridges costing more to make than blu-ray media for the other consoles. Nintendo also didn't want a disparity of cost between physical media and digital media, so if you launch a game both ways, you need to have the price be the same, which creates higher costing digital games on the switch store vs any other platform. The cost of the cartridge also varies depending on size of the game, so larger games will suffer more to this than smaller ones

 Sure you can contact nintendo customer support and they sometimes take care of you, but this is a hassle and shouldn't even be a problem. They could have just owned up to the mistake, and redesigned the controllers at this point. ( pro controller is actually a solid design, but its more expensive then both ps4 and xbox one controllers so I dislike recommending it. I believe its the amiibo sensor that does this and that's just bad)

I have an loaded opinion on this console that I want to express. The Switch is flawed.  There is a major design flaw in them that eventually has the analogue stick wear our and start "drifting", making the controller effectively useless. If these were cheap, maybe I wouldn't care as much, but they are 80$ to replace. Sure you can contact nintendo customer support and they sometimes take care of you, but this is a hassle and shouldn't even be a problem. They could have just owned up to the mistake, and redesigned the controllers at this point

The switch is a unique console that has a lot of good ideas, but is poorly executed.

I love this system it takes some getting used to compared to the other consoles I have but nevertheless it's fun. The only issue I have is the fact that my brand new console came with a scratch on the left joy-con. I don't mind it, but I am just writing about it to let the company know that they should check their items before selling them to make sure no one else receives a slightly damaged product. All in all I absolutely adore this system! Thanks!

I'm done with the Switch and here's why.

I love my Switch, because so many 3rd party games are playable on it and it’s portable, unlike previous Nintendo consoles, which were carried only by Nintendo and it’s 2nd party offerings. I own about 100 games for Switch and if Nintendo suddenly stopped making games completely, it would not affect me at all. I would be still more than happy with so many awesome games from other developers. I love, how how we finally have a main Nintendo console, which has so many playable games from other than just 1st or 2nd party developers

Who else loves Switch, but not because it’s exclusives

 I like to listen to long electronic mixes while I work, do chores, etc., but want to be able to game and talk with friends over Discord. I do have a Yeti that I will primarily use when I am gaming, but I want to be able to walk about my house and maintain a conversation.

I've been on my Koss porta pro for years now. Is there anything new worth checking out? I use them for gaming, music and everything in home. I wanted to "upgrade" to wireless gaming headset (like hyperx flight) but I know I would probably regret it.

What I like in Koss porta pro:

-fun sound quality that's great for game and music. no flat crap. Maybe just lacks a bit in sub bass but that's rather fine. Not sibilant like hm5 or pro82 were.

-Soundstage !!! Many times, I look around the room and find that the sound was coming from porta pro :P

-Light and comfortable. I put them on and I can forget about wearing them. So light.

-Breathable pads. Both stock and yaxi are great for summer. no sweating, breathing

-I really like the ability to hear my surroundings. These feel like wearing nothing, so I can still hear someone knocking on the door or washing machine finishing or anything clrearly like if I was not wearing the.

Any ideas what is out there in similar vein? Hopefully low ohm since I connect also to dualshock 4. On pc I use fiio e10k which I also would like to replace with something else. Shame they don't even sell sennheiser px100. I remember these were very good also.

I want a pair to use on a run (so something that doesn't fall out easily is also a requirement), and I don't shy away from running in the rain, so it absolutely needs to have waterproofing, like ipx4 or 5. I was going to get just some Galaxy Buds but was reminded that they have practically 0 waterproofing so that's a non-starter.

Other features I'd like that aren't necessary are Bluetooth 5.0, long battery life, and maybe even ambient noise mode but that's *super* luxury and I don't expect to find anything with that at this price range. Obviously a better quality sound would be, well, better.

I was reeeeeally tempted to spring for the MW07 Go but it's $230 with shipping even after the discount it had yesterday so it's outside of the price I can justify. I've also heard good things about the Jabra Elite 75t but, again, it's >$200.

I can hold off purchasing right now. I guess tangentially I should ask if you think it's worth just setting aside some more money over the next little while and spring for a more premium model.

I’m looking for some over the ear headphones with a U-shaped sound. I definitely prefer a bass/treble forward sound over a flat/neutral sound. That said, comfort is my top priority. My M50x and HD 58x are both a little too small for my head / ears so the width of the band and size of the pads need to be on the larger side.

I’m looking for some portable Bluetooth headphones that aren’t large, and have good sound quality. It also needs to not be able to break if I accidentally sit on it (it’s happened). Hi all, I already own a HD6XX and I really like it's neutrality and comfort. I primary use it at home with my JDS Labs Atom amp. Since it's an open back headphones I can't really use that at my office. 

My job also requires me to use a headset with mic, they provided me a Jabra Evolve 75 ANC wireless headset, it's good but it's really uncomfortable. I plan to buy a new closed back headphones for my own and add a Modmic or something like that.

I did some research and found that people has been saying that the DT 250 has similar sound signature with the HD650 (so HD6XX). Is it true? And is there anything to take note if I want to add a Modmic to it?

Edit: just realized I only have access to the 250 Ohm version in my country and I won't use an amp at work (direct 3.5mm to the laptop)... Sigh. Is there an easier-to-drive alternative?

hey all!
I recently bought the DT990K Pro and Fiio E10ak but I feel like it's still a little quiet. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty decently loud at max volume and high gain, but there's not much headroom there if I want to go louder.
I've been reading online and apparently these should be super loud even at half volume.
What am I doing wrong? They're connected from headphones to E10k to PC's USB port.

I've recently purchased some IEMs (Galaxy Buds+) and it's my first experience with IEMs in general, usually I'm using over ear headphones or earbuds that sit outside the ear canal.

I'm finding that the IEM sound quality is nice, but the moment I start moving around (walking/running) all sound that comes from the IEM is just muffled by the sounds of my body moving (mainly footsteps) and it becomes difficult to enjoy.

I have tried using some third party foam tips to see if the material is any different, but nothing changes

My question is, am I using them wrong? Is there some way to avoid hearing the thumping sound of footsteps and bassy sound of my body moving all the time?

Hello All, I've been looking for a decent replacement for my Amazon basics headphones that I've been using for quite a while now. I think they have great sound qualtiy for the price but they're starting to fall apart and I'd like a slightly higher quality replacement. A lot of headphones tend to over exaggerate the bass which I absolutely hate. I prefer a balanced tone which I think the amazon headphones have. I also  prefer on-ear headphones since they aren't too bulky. I'll be using the headphones in a quiet environment so sound isolation doesn't matter much.

Edit: Recently I've tried using the Mpow 059 Bluetooth headphones, but they just absolutely have too much bass and I ended up returning them almost immediately.
