I doubt there's any easy math for finding FOV at the long end because the zoom optics add complexity that will interact with FOV.

A narrow field of view is more comfortable for some people, so even if you don't wear glasses, the extra eye-relief is more comfortable. In all likelihood you won't see to the edge of the field of view on the other binoculars without folding the eyecups down at least half-way. Closer to $200 you can get the Nikon Prostaff 7s (the 5's are not phase-corrected) roof binoculars which may be more compact and lightweight than the Porros, with the field of view being a bit more narrow, but the eye-relief is good on these too.

Very easy to get used to and focus quickly. Very good in low light and they focus in tight viewings which make them great for the closer views you can catch of hummingbirds and butterflies.
