We're talking about the Book 3 struggling with 1080p video on YouTube without frame drops, yet a cheap iPad wouldn't question that for a second. It seems like the best of both worlds, while the Book 3 seems to offer the mediocre of both.  Much of the negatives didn't truly sink in until after the return period, so I may recommend purchasing through Microsoft directly, as they offer 60 days to make up your mind rather than 30

 The 15.5 hours of battery life advertised is a complete lie. --Sometimes when the laptop needs a system update, it will refuse to launch any programs until all updates are finished. --Microsoft's support has not been too helpful, either

5 hours of usage if you are not doing anything too intense (I mainly use mine for Zoom calls and online homework). It will die on standby mode in about 12 hours if not used at all. The 15.5 hours of battery life advertised is a complete lie

 All these points have been present since I received the laptop, and I try to take very good care of it, so unless it was damaged in shipping, these issues have not been caused by any damage brought upon the laptop. The few positives it has going for it are vastly outweighed by all the negatives, and coupled with the steep price of around at least $1500, there is little to no reason to buy a different laptop that has all the features of this one and more for a cheaper price. Honestly, I would say this laptop is only worth a tenth of the selling price.

5" Surface Book 3 256GB Storage i5/8GB RAM (from the Microsoft website, so I might bot have a verified purchase)  First, the negatives --An obvious flaw for me is the weight of the screen compared to the strength of the part of the keyboard that connects to the screen, opening and closing the laptop. If the screen is open at less than maybe an 80-degree angle, the laptop shuts due to the weight of the screen. Because this is more of an inconvenience than a major flaw, I decided to let it slide and continue to give the laptop a chance. --The next glaring flaw I noticed was the Wi-Fi on the laptop

The Enter key is SO soft and mushy and I've noticed many of the keys, like the pair of Space bars, are also soft and don't register contact multiple times. VERY frustrating as I can type around 50 wpm and I'm having to Backspace WAY too much! GRR!. I want to send this POS back and try another brand, but I've found no other alternatives in my searches.

 It might be marginally but use it for a couple hours and it's going to need a charge. I wouldn't recommend this for students. Having 2 classes in row will mean you're looking to sit near a plug in class to keep it charged. You can dim the screen down but that's not always possible when you're in a bright classroom

 My old model, with a card slot, I routinely swapped out cards depending on my usage. I was hoping the battery life was some improved. It might be marginally but use it for a couple hours and it's going to need a charge. I wouldn't recommend this for students

Good but with some disappointments.

We did not open the shrink wrap as there was no indication of a keyboard. Be aware of false depictions of keyboard included even in the video. Otherwise, the product should be ok if you want a tablet, not a PC.
