 Hey I'm JR, and today we are here to talk about two Marantz home theater receivers, the SR5014 and the SR6014. Now first off, they're Marantz, so we know that they're built well, they're built to last, the amplifiers are heavy duty and musically very warm, so they have that Marantz sound that we've come to know and love over the years. The SR5014 is a seven channel amplifier with 100 watts per channel. The 6014 adds two more channels and 10 more watts per channel, so it's nine channels at 110 watts

 They of course do have a phono input for a moving magnet cartridge on a turntable. There are plenty of digital and analog audio inputs, so you can get your music in using optical or coax digital or analog RCA connections. Of course you can Bluetooth your music in from your phone, but I think a lot of people are going to use the built-in HEOS. HEOS is Marantz's multi-room wireless music system, and it's built into these receivers so that you can use an app on your phone to control whatever music you want to listen to, whether it's from a computer on your home network or any of the streaming sites, Spotify, Pandora, etc

For an avr I guess u limit sound quality with an average dac conversion process, it’s ok but not great for great audio sound good for home theater. Connectivity problems exist and it is a problem, Spotify, cec issues requiring power cycling all the time and poor customer support. Only done via email, no talking with advance tech support. Also volume control is jagged with remote

 Why pal? Why? Why pal like? I i just when i set up the receiver. I ran it. I demoed a couple of things and then i ran the room correction and i could certainly say that it definitely broadened my sound stage. It separated sounds for me um

 So the room correction. Definitely helped definitely impressed um and a noticeable audible difference in cleaning up the signal i felt like so all of this money man for this little price point. It'S just been really good. I myself am capped out now with seven speakers

99 at costco, so immediately when you look at it on the back, it has two wi-fi antennas: has a ton of hdmi ports, it's 8k ready, so i think, with a firmware update, it should be able to Handle 8k 60 content passing through hdmi. It has ethernet, it has music cast um all of the audio phono inputs, coaxial optical, as well as two zone, optional, outputs, if you're not doing the - i think, atmos setup. So i purchased this just for a solid high quality. Two channel stereo receiver - that also has wi-fi arc and other you know, 2020 capabilities so that i could keep it long-term and use it as a as a device i can just cast to for my phone

Been using it for several weeks now and have really enjoyed it. I previously had the Yamaha RX-6VA, this model's more expensive and slightly more fully-featured older brother. I have had roughly the same experience with this one as I did with the RX in terms of ease of use and sound quality, and though it has fewer features, it did not lose any that I personally miss. And it's $200 cheaper, which is not insignificant considering the price
