It also has an impressive HDR color gamut, with nearly complete coverage of the DCI-P3 color space used by most current HDR content, ensuring the latest HDR movies look vivid and life-like. It also has incredible gradient handling, with almost no signs of banding in any shade.

It's a great gaming monitor with an outstanding response time, wide viewing angles, and low input lag for a responsive gaming experience. It supports HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, which is great if you have an Xbox Series X or a PS5, as it supports 4k @ 120Hz gaming from those consoles. It also supports FreeSync variable refresh rate technology, ensuring a nearly tear-free gaming experience.

Sadly, it has disappointing reflection handling, so it's not a great choice for a very bright environment with lots of windows. It also has a pretty basic stand, but you can always VESA mount it instead. The LG 27GP950-B is the best PS5 monitor with a 4k resolution and HDMI 2.1 bandwidth that we've tested. It has the same 4k resolution as the Gigabyte M32U, but the main difference is that it has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, so you can reach 4k signals up to 120Hz with chroma 4:2:2 instead of chroma 4:2:0 that you get on M32U, so text in game menus looks clearer.

It has all the gaming features you expect to find in a high-end gaming monitor. It has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth with a 160Hz panel so you can reach high frame rates, and it has VRR support that works with the PS5. Motion is extremely smooth when gaming at 120Hz and 60Hz, and the input lag remains low no matter the resolution you're gaming at. It has wide viewing angles if you want to use it for co-op gaming so that the image remains accurate from the sides, but you can't swivel its stand.

Sadly, the reflection handling is disappointing as reflections from even moderate light sources are distracting, but it still has great peak brightness if you want to use it in a room with a few lights around. If that isn't a problem for you, it's the best monitor for gaming on the PS5 that has full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth.

The LG 27GP950-B is the best gaming monitor for Xbox Series X with full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth that we've tested. Although the Gigabyte M32U can still reach 4k @ 120Hz signals without issue, it still requires compression to do so, so if you want a monitor that doesn't need compression, the LG is a great choice. It has a smaller 27 inch screen, but it has an even higher pixel density for sharper images.

Thanks to the full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth and 144Hz panel, it displays any signal from the Xbox Series X up to 4k @ 120Hz, and it supports VRR to reduce screen tearing. Gaming feels responsive thanks to its low input lag, and you won't notice any motion blur behind fast-moving objects as it has a really quick response time at any refresh rate. It has good picture quality because it gets bright enough to fight glare, and it has great HDR peak brightness, so small highlights in games pop.

Sadly, even though it has a local dimming feature, it performs terribly because it's edge-lit and doesn't do much to improve the picture quality. Also, it has bad black uniformity as there's clouding throughout, and blacks also look gray. If you're not going to use the monitor in a dark room, it's the best gaming monitor for Xbox Series X.

The best 4k 144Hz monitor with full bandwidth HDMI 2.1 inputs that we've tested is the LG 27GP950-B. It's an excellent gaming monitor with an incredibly fast response time at any refresh rate, delivering clear motion with almost no noticeable blur behind fast-moving objects. It has an incredibly fast 144Hz refresh rate, and unlike most of the other monitors on this list, you can also overclock it to 160Hz over a DisplayPort connection. However, the max refresh rate is limited to 120Hz over HDMI.

Unlike the Gigabyte M28U and Gigabyte M32U, this monitor's HDMI ports support the maximum HDMI 2.1 bandwidth of 48 Gbps. It doesn't change much for most content, but it allows for more accurate text clarity from some devices, including the PS5. LG is an international electronics company whose headquarters are in South Korea. It's one of the few brands that makes both TVs and monitors, so they have expertise with displays. Although their TVs are known for the OLED panels, LG tends to use IPS panels in their monitors, which don't have the same burn-in risk as OLEDs, so you won't have to worry about damaging the screen after long periods of use. Their monitors tend to focus more on gaming with the UltraGear lineup, but they do have a few office-friendly options. The LG 27G950-B is their best gaming monitor because it has a 4k screen with a 144Hz refresh rate that you can overclock to 160Hz, and because it has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, you can use it to play high-frame-rate games from the Xbox Series X and PS5.

While they have a few 4k monitors, they have a lot more 1080p and 1440p options if your graphics card doesn't support high-resolution, high-frame-rate games. You won't get as many 240Hz monitors as other brands, but LG's 1440p monitors like the LG 27GP850-B are still reliable and excellent for gaming. They also offer screens in a variety of sizes, from 24 to 32 inches for 16:9 monitors and 34 and 38 inch ultrawide screens, like the LG 34GP83A-B and the LG 38GN950-B. LG has a few downsides because they offer limited ergonomics, and they don't have many features like USB-C inputs.

 4K. 144Hz ips gaming monitor that we recommended for some time. This isn't the first monitor that lg has revised. They tend to do so on a yearly basis for some products like we saw with the 1440p 27gp 850, but to be clear, this is a revision

 It'S basically the same between the two generations of lg monitors and no different to the other 4k 144 hertz monitors that we've looked at there's a 5 watt difference between best and worst at a similar size, which is negligible for real world use. Next up, we have color performance. The 27 gp 950, like previous lg nano ips monitors, is a wide gamut display with near full coverage of the p3 gamut 98.4

 Using the fast mode performance holds up pretty well at high refresh rates 120 hertz and above, but when we get to 100hz and below overshoot starts to become more noticeable in practice and, in particular, at the lower part of the refresh range inverse. Ghosting is visible in ufo tests and, while gaming, we also see a falloff in cumulative deviation in response to this rise in overshoot moving from 500ish to the low 700 range. Meanwhile, the other viable option for variable refresh gaming is the normal mode. This mode is slower

 Behavior to other 4k 144hz monitors an effectively identical to the eve spectrum as 60 hertz. It falls behind the pack a bit, but benefits from no concerns around inverse. Ghosting input lag is as expected, with a processing delay below one millisecond.  I may just be the unluckiest but I've seen others having similar issues as well with this brand. So if you could get this monitor without any of the problems I had, it's a decent monitor for its price.

 I'd say for most, the M28U is good enough for such a value at $600. For me, I'm going to give it a week or so but I'm highly leaning towards the LG personally because it just doesn't have all the little things that bothers me.

 I also dislike the fonts on the M28U and it has issues of fonts/upscaling ie: just opening My documents as example, the fonts are not as sharp and just weird looking. The LG 27GP950 out the box looks amazing and does not have any of the issues I have with the M28U! The final question.. Is it worth the 300$ difference over the Gigabyte M28U

Gigabyte M28U is start selling on Newegg now, with 599 USD price tag. ( 28" 4K 144hz )

 Time. They also removed automatic input switching from last year's model for no good reason.  Both of these featured *sort* of worked on the older 27GN950 after a bunch of firmware updates. This "improved" model has regressed in both of those areas to the point where it's less reliable than my $300 Dell junker

The monitor's viewing angles, from both the side and above, are wide, typical of an IPS panel, with no discernible dimming or color shift, even at extreme angles.

The P2419H's design is utilitarian though not unattractive, with the panel housed in a thin, matte-black frame attached to a stand supported by a rectangular base. Although the lower bezel is wide (0.8 inch thick), the top and side bezels are thin enough (0.2 inch) that you may even forget that they're there

Color accuracy out of the box is passable, as shown on the chromaticity chart below. With the panel tested in Standard mode, my color measurements (represented by the colored dots) are reasonably close to the bounds of the triangle, although most are a bit skewed from their ideal CIE coordinates (represented by the boxes).

I like the thin bezel design as I purchased two screens and I can place them so that they touch, creating a fauz-curved screen effect.

Height is not adjustable--check the height before buying if important to you.
