 As you can see, I was able to do that with one one finger in one hand, the lock up is is good, but not great. There is a little bit of wobble, but it's not something. I think that you'll be concerned with over time does come with 1/2 serrations. This is a, I believe, a 420hc steel blade as far as sharpness

5. The opening and closing of the handles is super stiff like when I'm closing with a blade out to try and get a better grip I'm seriously at risk of slipping and cutting my hand open.

I’ve owned a few of the higher end Leatherman’s and I’m pretty disappointed in the fit and finish of this model. The pocket clip is loose and the overall feel of it feels cheaply made. The spring loaded pliers are a nice feature, but that too feels cheap. I got it for an emergency bag, so hopefully it won’t see a lot of use, because I don’t think it would take it

Their page says "If we can’t repair it, we’ll replace it with a comparable refurbished model" I don't think a Wingman is comparable to a PST, and even disregarding the actual PST model they have on sale right now the Rebar is a better comparison, both size, tool and quality/price wise no?

Warranty claimed my PST, got an email that they'll replace it with a wingman.

I use it daily for 3 years and there is not a single loose string or tear. I machine wash it bi weekly and it just hold. Great product! 

Knives picst

 It is way too heavy to carry in a pocket, so a pouch is a must. Now I have to send it back. I'll get the entry level Gerber, which is five dollars more - $5 that go towards the pouch, no doubt.

In 1884, Master Cutler Karl Elsener opened a cutlery shop in Ibach, Switzerland. Care Tips for Swiss Army Knives
The various tools are manufactured from high-quality steel with precisely tuned features that are essential for the particular application. The steel is tempered, annealed and polished to achieve the necessary hardness and provide optimum resistance to corrosion.

Sharpening
To re-sharpen your knife, use a whetstone at an angle of 15°– 20°. This will result in a cutting angle of 30°– 40°. If sharpening on a grinding wheel, always cool with plenty of water to avoid excessive temperatures and the resulting damages that may occur.

Cleaning
After you’ve used your Swiss Army Knife for all of its various applications, such as cutting open numerous boxes, you may notice that the blades begin to stick together. Opening and closing the blades in warm water several times will allow the tools to easily move again. Once they have dried, it is recommended, to apply a small drop of oil between the blade or tool shank and the spring. To optimally maintain the locking mechanism, periodically apply a drop of our recommended Swiss Army Knife Oil. Never put Swiss Army Knives in the dishwasher.

Who’s multitools are better?

 The knife blades are scary sharp and probably the sharpest of any production line knife made today, plus they are stainless steel. The heftyness of the tool speaks of it's quality, ruggedness and ability to do the job. I have broken the plier head jaws on several other manufacturers multitools , never on a Swisstool, including the smaller Swisstool Spirit, they are made to last a lifetime. I have had occasion to send Swiss Army Knives t Made in Switzerland with a lifetime warranty

I used to carry a well known name brand multitool until I found THREE superior options ( my decision was based on 40+ years as a fire fighter, police officer and bomb disposal technician ( EOD ). I have owned a number of multitools over the years and abused them all ( that's why the good ones have a lifetime warranty ). The three best for the money in my opinion are the 1. SOG Powerlock , 2

00.  The second multitool in the lineup is a Victorinox SwissTool which comes equipped with both a plain edge AND a serrated blade / seat belt cutter which can be life saving in a auto accident. Victorinox Swisstools are quality unsurpassed , as are ALL of the lineup of Swiss Army Knives. The implements on the SwissTool are well thought out, each tool is individually accessible and locks securely in place

Swisstool is a multitool you NEED to own ...

 The Swiss Spirit, on the other hand, has a movement like no other - totally fluid and precise. As someone who has already handled several of Victorinox's Swiss Army Knives, I thought I couldn't be "wow'ed" anymore by their quality, but this tool exceeded my expectation. It's great for home repair, electrical work, and outdoor excursions.  A few notes on the design:  The locking tools are the highlight for me

 The case is made of a fairly thick brown leather with a velcro closure that should shelter the tools from the weather and general neglect. I personally love the look of it too - very classic/timeless styling.  All in all, I can't see how anyone could think they made a bad purchase on this item. I was on the fence for awhile, did a little research on the tool, debated about buying it some more, and eventually figured it wouldn't kill me if I got it

 Some might count this as a negative, but I believe its functionality to be, nevertheless, unhindered and, perhaps, favorable.  The tools themselves cover a wide range of on-the-job necessities, that have already come in handy in numerous situations - I do some light carpentry and construction on occasion and regular yard work.  The carrying case is also a major plus. Although the tools are stainless steel, anyone who knows their steels can tell you that even stainless steels can rust when neglected

A Perfectly Crafted Tool

 While many differences exist between the two, most come down to personal preference rather than quality. For example, I like the standard (small) Leatherman pliers better because of the finer shape of the nose, but the Swisstool pliers are also excellent. This Swisstool offers the ability to use the various tools without opening up the handles, and this might be an advantage for some. Also, the curved design of the Swisstool allows for better hand comfort when using the pliers, although I have never considered this to be an issue with my Leathermans

 I really, really wanted a straight design with the measuring scale, but that is only available in a larger model. The scissors are a bit puny when compared to the larger model. And the knife blade on this particular Swisstool is kind of smallish and a less aggressive design than the Leathermans I have owned. I should also mention that I hate the stiffness and long, long “break-in” period on any of these tools

 So overall, I have to take the middle ground as to which is better. I suppose the Swisstool gets points for sexiness, due to the absolutely perfect polished finish and graceful design, but I still love all of my Leatherman models, and they still turn heads when I deploy the tools and fix something in a fraction of the time it would take someone to walk to some location and grab a toolbag. Overall, the reason I ended up with the Swisstool instead of the Leatherman is due to the thickness, the size when closed, and the price to get (most) of the features I wanted. The Leatherman models I considered were either small and toy-like, or big, heavy and expensive; I have found that the thickness of the tool is the biggest issue with carrying in my front pocket without a case, rather than overall length

 The sharpness and toughness of the tools may surpass that of my previous Leatherman models, and the small chisel is a bonus that I now realize will see much service in the future.  Dislikes: not much. I really, really wanted a straight design with the measuring scale, but that is only available in a larger model. The scissors are a bit puny when compared to the larger model
