  I imagine some people will be glad there are three regular screwdriver sizes. Seems wasteful to me. I can't help but wonder if a different 3rd tool would have been better, like an awl tip or corkscrew.  I'm going to try it for a while but it seems a bit heavy to me

I have a handful of other multitools, including an older original-design Leatherman. I bought this because the mix of tools seemed sufficient to possibly be a better every-day carry than the pocket knife I've worn for several years now (Benchmade Mini-Griptilian). I just received my Juice and I am not convinced it will be that replacement.  It is notably heavier than my Mini-Grip

Seems middle-of-the-road

After a while searching I believe that the best friction folding bladed (slightly under 3 inches) multi tool is actually the Leatherman Juice S2. Slightly smaller size but enough to work with / grip, good needle nose pliers and the nicest scissors I've seen on a multi-tool. Blade is great and comes razor sharp out of the box. Also inexpensive got mine on sale for 30 something quid (usually around £50?)

Whats the best multi tool?

I use every single tool on that thing and they have all held up great! Knife sharpens true, the big flathead..I like to sharpen that as well on the box opener side, cuts like butter on blister packages and shit now. The awl has been very reliable as well for such a thiner tool, Iv cranked on that thing and it is still holding true

My first ever Leatherman! I’ve never seen a multitool with such a quality build.

 I know that if I didnt purchase this I wouldnt actually be looking around to tinker! Who knew!  The three flathead drivers they include are very nice and multifunctional. I found that they are all very sturdy for light prying and especially true for the largest flathead. The smallest flathead driver was actually able to unscrew the minuscule screws inside of a wristwatch (my curiosity led me to dismantle my entire watch)! I also purchased the additional bit driver set what added on top of the phillips driver for additional bits. It was especially useful when I had some hex-bit screws to tighten on my bicycle when I tuned it up

 The knife is very sharp but I can notice it can quickly dull but with the type of steel it is made with sharpening should be fairly simple. The shears are large. The cutting does feel a little grainy sometimes (probably because mine are still new), it could be caused by very sharp blades.  The downsides of this multitool comes scarce

 The flex alone can be intimidating but the tool should be able to handle it.  I gave 4 starts instead of 5 because of the minor, but annoying issue with the bit driver compatibility  In conclusion, I would recommend this multitool to the everyday tinkerer. I really see this tool's use as mainly a do-it-all phillips and flathead screw driver with handy pliers and shears/knife as a secondary function. I recommend the additional bit driver if you work with hex screws (bicycles) and torx screws

 When I handed it to my 12 year old son, that was the first thing he noticed, too. - Difficult to open. Some of the smaller tools on the inside (esp. flat head screwdriver) were hard to open, and that's when it's right out of the box

 Some newer Leatherman models even have no scissors, but I found that is one thing I used a lot. These scissors are on the outside and are the full length of the tool (previous ones were 1/2 size). - Just what I need, and nothing more. Yeah, maybe I'll need a 2" saw blade or corkscrew someday, but I know I don't want to carry it the rest of the time backpacking or traveling

.. I do wish the blade locked open at least. The blade on my last Leatherman came out of the middle, so when you close the handles, they hold it open

  Mixed bag: - Blade width. The blade's length is 2.6" (I had to look this up elsewhere). I measure it at just under 2

compact, but that's what I wanted!

 As you can see, I was able to do that with one one finger in one hand, the lock up is is good, but not great. There is a little bit of wobble, but it's not something. I think that you'll be concerned with over time does come with 1/2 serrations. This is a, I believe, a 420hc steel blade as far as sharpness

5. The opening and closing of the handles is super stiff like when I'm closing with a blade out to try and get a better grip I'm seriously at risk of slipping and cutting my hand open.

I’ve owned a few of the higher end Leatherman’s and I’m pretty disappointed in the fit and finish of this model. The pocket clip is loose and the overall feel of it feels cheaply made. The spring loaded pliers are a nice feature, but that too feels cheap. I got it for an emergency bag, so hopefully it won’t see a lot of use, because I don’t think it would take it

Their page says "If we can’t repair it, we’ll replace it with a comparable refurbished model" I don't think a Wingman is comparable to a PST, and even disregarding the actual PST model they have on sale right now the Rebar is a better comparison, both size, tool and quality/price wise no?

Warranty claimed my PST, got an email that they'll replace it with a wingman.

I use it daily for 3 years and there is not a single loose string or tear. I machine wash it bi weekly and it just hold. Great product!

 It is way too heavy to carry in a pocket, so a pouch is a must. Now I have to send it back. I'll get the entry level Gerber, which is five dollars more - $5 that go towards the pouch, no doubt.
