 So the ones that work well were with the IOTA VX. That combo, I did have to turn up the the bass to plus three with tone control and I had to use an external DAC. The built-in DAC was a little bit too lean sounding for me but once I have the external DAC and plus three with the tone control for bass, it sounded great and I was able to listen for long sessions. I also paired it with my Modrite LS100, my Exosound E28, as well as the Moon W5

 Just make sure your front end has enough juice to control the drivers. If you want more definition, I guess you can go with this. Sure it does not have the same definition as this but it's still pretty good, especially if your front end has good control on the bass. Having spent time with this Klipsch RP-8000F further reinforced this idea I have that today's budget speaker are no longer the same as yesterday's

 That setup though pairs well with bright speakers. My Volca Cantus, my Kev LS50 and a few other bright speakers that I've tried with, it works well. So that setup also worked well with this and finally the one that surprised me the most was with the Yamaha WXA50 with an external DAC. We were quite blown away and we realized that you actually don't need a lot of power to drive these speakers with good bass and I'm waiting to get the Yamaha WXA50

 The built-in DAC was a little bit too lean sounding for me but once I have the external DAC and plus three with the tone control for bass, it sounded great and I was able to listen for long sessions. I also paired it with my Modrite LS100, my Exosound E28, as well as the Moon W5.3, also the Classy D200. That of course is a higher-end setup and it paired well with it

 Hey everyone, it's Thomas here. So today I'm gonna talk about the Klipsch RP-8000F.

 Now here's the RP-600M and for those of you who have seen the video on the

 RP-600M you know that I really wanted to try the Big Brother and the reason is

 because I really like the speaker. Now I actually prefer floor standing speakers

 over stand mount speakers because I like that full range sound. However, because

 it's easier to work with small speakers, easier to transport, I spend a lot of

 time reviewing small speakers. Now only when the bookshelf or the stand mount

 catch my attention, I mean really catch my attention, that's where I seek out the

 Big Brother because this is more for me. So in today's video we're gonna answer

 the question, did it disappoint me or it lived up to my expectations? Alright

 guys, in the interest of time, you know my videos, they're always so short. I'm

 gonna cut things out. I'm not gonna go over the specifications, you can just

 Google it alright. Instead, I'll focus on how I feel about the speaker and the

 differences and I'll tell you a few stories on the way. Okay, now to summarize

 it, if somebody asked me how they sound, they're very dynamic, right?

 That's the Klipsch Horn. They're very lively, forward sounding, forward side of

 neutral and they have decent bass if you have very good front end

 amplification and they're a lot of fun to listen to. I'm sure most of you by now
