Triple Test bookshelf speakers - 1000 Euro - Sonus Faber - Focal - Elac - Alpha Audio NET
They are the Focal Aria 906, the Elac UBR62 and the Sonus Faber Luminia II. Three pairs around 1000 euros (without stands). We then connect these to three amplifiers: the NuPrime IDA-8, the Yamaha A-S2200 and the Pass Labs XP-12 with X150.8 (review to follow). The latter doesn’t make any sense, of course, but yes: it’s fun.

Finally got the speakers I wanted in high school
Sonus Faber Venere 3.0 in Walnut! I splurged on a Peachtree nova 300 watt amp earlier this month to power my Hales Revelation speakers but I knew it wasn’t going to be enough to do the job. I’ve been eyeing these on Craigslist for like a month and whoops. The guy had every single bit of packaging they came with and the boxes- gotta love this community.

* Left this demo a lot more conflicted on audiophile gear obsession vs. enjoying music vs. a piece of art in the living room. * Sonus Faber Amati Tradition (with MA8900). * Another dealer demo with no realistic way for me to buy these 30K speakers. * I liked these as well - but I recall it kinda just being "moar" sonus faber.
You guys like white speakers?
* DIY sound panels. General thoughts:Sonous Faber makes some wonderful speakers that for the price hit a bit above their weight class especially when paired with Dirac. It has taken me quite some time to dial in the system with Dirac but over the years I have learned how to push this system to its full potential leveraging Dirac.
My setup in my small Hong Kong flat
The speaker setup is ok. While i quite like the soundstage of the Sonus Faber as well as the volume, the sound is pleasant but not extremely detailed.

Speaker Upgrade: Sonus Faber Olympica Nova II
The Sonus Faber, on the other hand, seem to isolate and present every detail clearly and discretely. For example, I’m learning to play guitar and try to listen for the rhythm guitar in songs. Sometimes the acoustic guitar is quiet and buried within many bigger sounds in a track. With the Sonus Faber, even at low volumes, I can easily pick out the acoustic guitar and distinguish it from all other instruments and vocals.
Sonus Faber Sonetto III
Sonus Faber III speakers just settling in. Really impressed with these. I've been moving away from more vintage gear and replaced a pair of recently restored Celestion Ditton 66s. I'm not too good with audio superlatives but the midrange was really clear and "forward".
Living room setup, all second hand thrift/pawn finds for under 500
The Sonus Faber is a great find! Nice going!
Moved in to new place recently, so decided to update my setup
We finally moved in to our own place, so i fulfilled my wish to get Sonus Faber speakers. These are Sonetto 1's i have gone from Fyne Audio F501 floorstanders to these and while they dont go as low as Fyne these are simply amazing. Absolutely delighted with their sound, Fyne was too large and too bassy for my taste. Been listening these like crazy since i got them, they absolutely fill out the room perfectly.
