Buying advice. Budget 2500$

I’d personally go for the q750 on sale, the r3 are a better speaker but cost more, and I’d say they’re more music oriented, the q750 more movie oriented (not to say either speaker is a slouch, they’re both good all around speakers) If you can, listen to both side by side.

New speakers Wharfedale Evo 4.4 - so far a mixed experience.

After the 4.3's I went with a pair of Kef Q750's. Same price. They have fuller bass response but still quite tight and detailed.

First home theater setup, Kef vs Jamo vs Wharfdale?

I would definitely go with KEF out of those 3 choices, but you can save yourself a bunch of money by going through and buying recertified(refurbished). The Q750's are the sweet spot in that series, so I would recommend going with them if possible.

Purchasing the Kef 150s for a 3.1 system. Need some advice

I have the Q750's as my fronts and the Q250c as my center, mainly because the 650 wouldn't fit in my current setup (and I always try the cheaper option first). I also have 150's as my surrounds. I think you'd be fine with the 250. I love it.

I ended up with KEF's. The Q750's, and I really love them. I agree with your assessment and really love the dispetsion of the UniQ driver. They throw a wide sweet spot and image and soundstage really well.

Living room set up

The KEF Q750 is a good upgrade. I had a shipping delay for my second Q750 so the left was a Q350 for a few weeks. Boy did the Q750 on the right have a much more noticable improvement for the highs and lows than the Q350 on the left. Super Mario 64 from the N64 sounded better on the right Q750 than the left Q350.

My room is 15x13ft, where my tv is placed near the left corner on the larger wall, being a big movie watcher im tired of listening to the mediocre sound my tv produces, especially the hollow non existing bass.. After looking around alot it came down to the KEF Q750/950 and Yamaha A-S701/R-N803. As some say the Q950's sound a little boomy and my room isnt super large (its basically a bedroom turned into a mancave) i think the Q750 would be a better option? these are for sale here for 470$ a piece, with the S701 going for 700$ and the N803 for 1050$ (all prices are including tax). Would the YPAO and bass management (which is what got me eyeballing them in the first place) on the N803be worth the extra money over the S701?
