It came with the S809 towers that I absolutely love in my theatre. I felt the S81 was too small for my space and returning them was going to cost me a lot in shipping so I put it and the S801s as my front sound stage in my living room and they are small enough that the wife doesn't care but good enough that I also like them. The 801s would probably be fine for Surrounds. As I type this my kids and I are watching an episode of Clone Wars that has Cade Bane and many Huts in it and I am actually quite impressed with the low end on these Jamo's.

Especially when you consider the price they drop to regularly. That said, I think there are a lot of better speakers out there if you are willing to up the budget - but in the price range they reside at, the S809s are kind of in a league of their own.

Looking for (white) speakers to mount on wall for full audio range

Your best option here, with your budget and your room/volume needs, will be to get some entry level floorstanding tower speakers (such as the JBL Stage A170 or Jamo S809, which both go on sale frequently) and figure out how to place them properly in your room. Some used Elac F5’s or Pioneer FS52’s might also work.

Current amp speaker combo is jamo s809 and Yamaha RN303D. Bought the KEF Q350’s for the kitchen/diner set up. Bored on a day off Ive set them both up in front room to A and B them. As you’d expect the Jamos sounded thin next to the kefs but ‘sparkly’ with cymbals etc (which I like).
