Sound is the problem here - perhaps the reviewers here are being very generous, or perhaps they’ve never owned a pair of speakers over $50 before, but either way - the sound is not great. Perhaps it could serve as a small upgrade over the built in speakers in a TV or as surround rears in a home theater setup, but they have no business being discussed as anything resembling “good” for music. Highs are shrill and lows are nonexistent. They are not capable of producing bass of any quantity, presumably due to the small drivers and shallow depth, but I guess I expected more based on the glowing reviews here

Let me tell you from a cost point of view. Since the speakers are used so less just go for real cheap ones. Don't even need to match rest of the setup. If you are not doing overhead atmos then just skip it altogether, the cost is not justified in my opinion
