 Do you need to spend a fortune on a hi-fi system? Perhaps you're looking for something more attainable, with style. You work hard. You have taste. You would prefer to buy a small bottle of the good stuff

 I just reviewed a pair of the XT15s, you know, I don't, I couldn't, I really can't picture that it'd be really, really, really, really hard to beat these speakers for $400. I think they're a bargain. And if you, if you want good looks, a good, really cool magnetic grill and you know, excellent quality sound, I don't think you can go wrong with these. I really, really, I'm going to give my strongest recommendation possible for these speakers

 The blue line is the Yamo S809s, and the yellow line are the Triton 7s. And as you can see, this is covering between 10 and, I measured up to about 120 Hz. So you know, it looks like the Golden Ears have a little more output between, I'm going to say 52 and 71 Hz, but then the Golden Ears have slightly higher output at around, you know, between, looks like 80 to about 100 Hz. And then, you know, after, after about this point here, about 52 Hz, they're pretty much in line, but then the Golden Ears start producing more, the output is more extended to about, so at around 20 Hz, you got like, you still have 75 decibels versus 72, you know, which is, you know, which isn't a big difference, but there is slightly more output coming out of the Golden Ears

 As far as these speakers go, they're very, very attractive. It's going to be hard to say goodbye to them. They are very good-looking speakers. When I look at them, I think of how they could be part of, you can almost picture them in like Mad Men or something in a scene in Mad Men or a prop

Jamo Studio S 809 Review - An Excellent Floor Standing Loudspeaker Value

 They give you the same general presentation that you get with the 809s, only they're pretty much better in every single way. And it's definitely worth the wait. Anyway, that is going to be my take on how these speakers compare to one another. So let's go ahead and wrap up this review

 Starting with the grills, the grills do not feel cheap at all. There's good weight behind them, the material is nice and rugged, and plus they're magnetic. And to use them, you just hold them up to the speaker, let go, and bam, easy peasy. The 809s also come with these metal feet to stabilize the speaker and to keep them from tipping over

 This is for somebody who's never owned another set of speakers before, maybe outside of a sound bar or some kind of wireless solution. You know you want something that looks good, that's affordable, that has an impressive presentation. And if you want it in a floor-standing loudspeaker, then I think the 809 checks off most of those boxes. And let's face it, when you're buying your first set of speakers, you want to be impressed

 Simple as that. Anyway, that is going to be my take on this speaker. Hopefully you took something away from this. I'm sure I'll learn in the comment section here soon enough

Finally, what's up with the atmos connections at the top? I guess if you're running these in a surround atmos system amd are too lazy to ceiling mount they're OK but they don't offer a chic, modern industrial look.

They work ok for a bargain price

 These are the only speakers I'll actually keep the covers on. I wish I could give a more in depth review of the sound but I'm not an audiophile and the best I can do is that they don't suck and for the money you probably can't do better. I hope that simplifies things.

Initial review  The separate atmos speaker pins seemed gimmicky to me. The driver size seemed small to me. The price was skeptical to me.

These speakers are wonderful - look great, slim and modern, and sound wonderful. For the asking price of $350, they are a bargain and you really can’t ask for more. The bass is tuneful and doesn’t overpower the room. High is extended but not piercing

Klipsch RP-8000F review 2022 - BEST Floorstanding Speaker 2022

 So the ones that work well were with the IOTA VX. That combo, I did have to turn up the the bass to plus three with tone control and I had to use an external DAC. The built-in DAC was a little bit too lean sounding for me but once I have the external DAC and plus three with the tone control for bass, it sounded great and I was able to listen for long sessions. I also paired it with my Modrite LS100, my Exosound E28, as well as the Moon W5

 Just make sure your front end has enough juice to control the drivers. If you want more definition, I guess you can go with this. Sure it does not have the same definition as this but it's still pretty good, especially if your front end has good control on the bass. Having spent time with this Klipsch RP-8000F further reinforced this idea I have that today's budget speaker are no longer the same as yesterday's

 That setup though pairs well with bright speakers. My Volca Cantus, my Kev LS50 and a few other bright speakers that I've tried with, it works well. So that setup also worked well with this and finally the one that surprised me the most was with the Yamaha WXA50 with an external DAC. We were quite blown away and we realized that you actually don't need a lot of power to drive these speakers with good bass and I'm waiting to get the Yamaha WXA50

 The built-in DAC was a little bit too lean sounding for me but once I have the external DAC and plus three with the tone control for bass, it sounded great and I was able to listen for long sessions. I also paired it with my Modrite LS100, my Exosound E28, as well as the Moon W5.3, also the Classy D200. That of course is a higher-end setup and it paired well with it

Klipsch RP8000F review. Better than the Klipsch RP600M?

 A quicker, clean mid-bass that was unheard of on the Klipsch 600M. So this speaker, yes, it is a phenomenal upgrade from the 600M. And it is something that you can't achieve with a 600M plus a subwoofer. Because not only are you getting a full bottom end, you're getting that mid-bass that was non-existent on the Klipsch 600M

 Perhaps because these are on a higher, kind of taller seating, as you can see here. Or maybe it's just the frequency being more full, spectrum is helping with the high frequency as well. But you're going to get nevertheless a bigger soundstage and a wider dispersion, even dispersion in my opinion. And from my ears, that's what I heard

 And so be very careful not to play any kind of poor recordings on these speakers. In fact, when you power these speakers, yes, it is very sensitive and you can power these with a tube amplifier. I would say anything like 50 watts and below even 30 watts will do it justice in this type of space. But yeah, even component wise, if you put shit, it will tell you that it's shit

 Now let me explain. You're going to get the same kind of airiness and quickness, high frequency extension and excitement that you got from the Klipsch 600M. But what you're getting more is the bass region, just like if you were to add a subwoofer. The 8000F has two 8-inch woofers added to them

 And if it sounds too big for you, know that there are smaller options in the 6000, 5000, and 4000F, though none of those three speakers are going to play quite as low as the 8000 will on its own. Now, for two-channel listening, we paired the 8000 with our name Unity Atom, the Yamaha S1200, the Musical Fidelity M5SI, and a budget stereo receiver from Sony. And for home theater use, we added in the 600C matching center speaker and we powered the whole thing using Sony's 2100ES-AV receiver. Now, we streamed a lot of music, either through the Unity Atom or the Urealik S50 Pro, all of which was done on the Tidal app

 Just look at it. It's huge. It's got big 8-inch drivers. You should turn it up to 11 and piss off the neighbors

 At 98 dB, it just doesn't take a ton of power to get the speaker up and running, and at low volumes, music and movies manage to still sound, well, alive. And this is one of the key things that impresses me most. It's not the speaker's tonality bass response or whatever. It's just the fact that through a Klipsch loudspeaker or through the 8000s themselves, music and movies just hit differently

All we have to say about this stunning piece is he's beautifully engineered, perfect to fit all your rooms, all your needs for your home theater, has a very good base, has can work wonderfully in a low frequency and we have thoroughly enjoyed using him and we recommend you try it too

 So the most asked questions about a flow standing speaker are these. First, is it loud? Yes, it is one of the loudest speakers available in this price range and it's beautifully brings out all the sounds. Number two, is it loud without distortion and strain in the music and sound? Definitely yes. Does it work very well in low frequency? Yes

 This four feet tall boy has a perfect, impressive base with stunning design, which seamlessly fits into any room, any decor as well. And he is scratch resistant.
