HP Omen 15 vs MSI GE66 Raider

RTX 2070 Max-Q and hexa-core gaming for 2,000 Euros (~US$2,279) is still good value for money though.

6 years with a MSI GE72 Raider without any issues and I just bought another MSI GE66 Raider without hesitation last month.

The only real issues I have with the computer are hardware issues aside from the performance. PROS : - Incredible CPU performance. This computer will handle anything without blinking. It's a tank

But scoring Alder Lake as a line is more difficult, and certainly beyond the scope of this review. What I will say is that in the GE76 Raider, specifically, Intel’s new flagship did what it needed to do to keep its manufacturer in the gaming race. (Here I will provide the usual caveat that a chip doing well on one game or benchmark means it’s good at that game or benchmark, not that it’s good at any other game or benchmark, and we can never make too many broad inferences outside of the tasks we tested here, etc. etc

Nearly 10 hours of battery life from a gaming notebook, especially one packing an eight-core CPU, is remarkable. This kind of unplugged life gives the Omen 15 an undeniable measure of practicality. Its ability to automatically switch off its dedicated Nvidia graphics card in favor of the CPU's integrated Radeon graphics is a leading reason it can last so long.

25lbs and battery life should realistically be around 6-8 hours because of its massive 99.9Wh battery.
