I have an older, round HEPA filter from Honeywell and the progression in technology is apparent. This is a very quiet and very functional HEPA air filtration unit. On its' 'AUTO' setting it is whisper quiet. It doesn't get real loud until either manual level 3 or 'Turbo' mode

 It is easy to open up the front for filter replacement - also easy to replace the filters and replace the front cover.

Honeywell Creates Clean Air

I suffer from allergies on occasion and the dust in my room is definitely no help. I have only one window that i keep the A/C unit on so there is not much circulation in the room, but the purifier really helps to circulate the air and I know that I'm getting good air quality despite the lack of circulation in the room. 

I'm so happy I found this air purifier, I instantly noticed a difference in the quality of the air after 1 run through at the highest setting, after that I just kept it running at the auto mode and it was barely noticeable in the background.

 I have noticed a major improvement in the 2 weeks I have had this product. The display panel is very nice and makes it easy to use. The control panel also has adjustable brightness, which is a fantastic feature. The brightest level is a little distracting to me, so being able to dim it is great

 It is nice that there is a light that alerts you to change your filters, as I always forget to keep track of how long the filters have been used. The unit weighs around 20lbs which makes it easy to maneuver. All in all, this is a great air purifier!

I think it's something like 300, something from what i read on there and it's one of the highest versus the price.  I couldn't work with that noise for long periods - white noise from the air movement is great; this was just grating.  Hey, Honeywell - here's a thought for you: spend just a little more on the motor & bearings you spec into this device and then actually put some effort into quality control. You were so close to a making a great product, but ruined it by penny pinching.

 It kinda reminded me of the sound London taxi cabs make, but distant and more muted. On higher fan settings, the air noise mostly drowned it out, but on the low setting is was rather annoying. I couldn't work with that noise for long periods - white noise from the air movement is great; this was just grating.  Hey, Honeywell - here's a thought for you: spend just a little more on the motor & bearings you spec into this device and then actually put some effort into quality control
