 So you're going to have a nice height range. But then the arms articulate from two different pivot points and then they also have a depth function, and so you can put these arms in a ton of different positions. They remind me a lot of the gesture and leap arms because they just give you a wider range, because that articulating motion, as opposed to just the arm caps going in four or three directions, plus the height the one big distinguishing factor between the fern and the Other hayworth chairs is going to be its backrest design because of the four layer technology. It'S a very soft design when you use it, it's very flexible and you do sink into it and it's very comfortable because it gives you a ton of freedom of movement

 And then you do get one locking position, which is nice and they include four-way arms, which is cool with height depth, swivel the whole shebang there and then you do get a pretty nice lumbar adjustment system that offers a decent range. The seat is pretty well padded. No hard edges very well rounded seat that should be comfortable for most people a little bit more on the firm side, but still softer than a lot of chairs that we've tested, and i do think the back rest is pretty comfortable. So, overall for a 500 chair, i do like the soji a lot just because there's not a lot to not like about the chair

 We paid 4.89 for ours, and this is currently my favorite chair under that 500 mark. Just because i think it's a very well-rounded chair and you are getting a lot of bang for your buck in this price range, starting with the warranty which is going to apply it to all four chairs that we look at in today's video. Getting 12 years of coverage on the whole chair, except for the upholstery, you do get five years of coverage on that, so a little less coverage than herman miller or steel case, but still right up there as one of the industry leaders and you also do get A nice return policy from hayworth when buying directly from them 30 days and they will pay for return

 So this chair was 794 dollars when we ordered it. I will say that it's got a very similar, build to the soji, not a huge difference there, but you are getting a few more adjustments and a little bit more functionality and that's where the price jump comes, and so the first big difference is going to be Just in the mechanism and how the chair reclines, instead of just having a standard synchro tilt with one upright locking position like on the soji you're, going to get three options with the very and you're going to get a much deeper recline as compared to a standard. Synchro tilt, so the first mode is just going to be a free, recline and you're going to have a full range. So if that's your price range, i would definitely be looking at the zodi chair and last but not least, we've got the fern, which i would assume is quickly becoming hayworth's most popular ergonomic chair, just because this is one of the coolest chairs out right now

 So then, when i'm sitting on this chair because of that lumbar support, oh it feels much nicer. So personally, i really like the embody, but the fern does a really good job emulating a lot of the good features here now, the only two things that i can really see. The difference of the two is the top uh the back seat here, where, when i'm sitting on the embody, it really kind of hugs me in the back, but not overly, but just enough, so that it feels really comfortable just either sitting or laying back and second Thing i noticed was on the fern. There'S a gap between the back and the seat versus the embody is just one piece

 So it's got that going on, but because it's a rubber bubble, it's gon na give you additional aggress, like five mildly, aggressive lumbar, which i really like, but because it's a bubble. It'S also going to flex with you, and it feels really really nice. Now, it's not just the tall back and a nice lumbar. That makes a good backrest, but it's also the way it was designed, as you can see, as it goes up it narrows in and what that means is that when you sit on the chair, i've had a i've used a lot of tallback chairs before, but one Of the big downsides of some of the tallbacks is that when you sit on it and you pull your arms back your arms, your your triceps bang into the frame of the back, but this backrest was designed because of that narrowing you get a ton of room To spread out that chest without ever running into the back, so this allows you to sit very freely, allows you to sit properly, and it's just it's just so good as promised

 Not only can it go up and down and then of course you can lean back, but the way it leans back is that you get four interval locks, so you get the top block, which makes it pretty fully locked and then you can lower it one time To go a little lower, then two times to go even lower and then three times to go even lower and then four times to go all the way down, and this thing goes back pretty darn far the one thing it doesn't have, just like all the other Big chair companies is that you cannot lock this in place while lean back. I really wish you could, but fortunately you can't, but in addition to the lean back, you also get this knob here in which you can tighten or loosen the back tilt tension, and it works really well about 10 turns gets you from fully loose to fully tight And be very careful because if you loosen your chair, you will fly back as i learned, if you it's about 10. Yes, this thing will just let you fly back so be very careful for my ergonomic rebels and my tall freak of nature friends. This seat depth can come forward

 So it doesn't feel like my body's, like arching backwards, so it's really comfortable. So i stole dan's mavic's m7 because initially it felt pretty good, but after a few months sitting in it, i started feeling really uncomfortable, especially in the lower back area. So then, when i'm sitting on this chair because of that lumbar support, oh it feels much nicer. So personally, i really like the embody, but the fern does a really good job emulating a lot of the good features here now, the only two things that i can really see

My New #1 Chair Pick - Haworth Fern

* **Haworth Fern**: This chair definitely looked better in pictures than it did in person. The design is cool but all the plastic just looks kind of cheap. To be fair, it was less than half the price of the Embody.

Let me start and note that I used to work for Haworth and I am currently sitting in a Haworth Fern w/Lumbar and 4D arms. Over the course of the past 3 -4 months it feels like the chair is starting to fail. Only a year old and its just not cutting the mustard. I have had this issue with a lot of chairs including the Zody and the Big n tall

She's finally admitted that she needs some help and probably won't be able to find something that meets all her demands of style and comfort.

Help! Wife has steep demands of her office chair!

 One is the eye-watering price, but it's about on par with what we spent on the HM chairs. I also wish I'd gone with a different color. The black is nice, but the hounds tooth pattern on the seat cushion is a bit jarring. I wish it was ALL black

 I did not notice that this chair being sold on Amazon does NOT have that feature and it doesn't appear to be something that can be added after the fact. Shame on me for not noticing that. I don't know what I don't know, so I can't really speak to how that impacts the overall comfort of the chair.  Hey guys, it's hard to believe it's already been over three years since we first brought in the

 Steelcase Elite V2 chair here to Beat Todd for review and since that time it is consistently

 ranked at the top of our list for best chair for most people. It's also been a product that I've

 actually been using as my daily driver. Now we've had these chairs here for a long time and so some

 of my opinions have changed on the chair. So make sure that you stay through to the end of this
