 So if you get someone moving too quick and the primary camera has a blurry face, it can merge in the faster sharper face from the ultrawide camera into your shot. Automatically, i mean that's, you kind of just never have blurry faces in your photos overall, just as someone who's used now, both of these phones for a couple weeks, iphone's camera system is better than the pixels. It just is right. Now it doesn't it's more consistent

 It has great dynamic range, great stabilization and that big sensor is giving you real background blur and impressively staying in focus most of the time and in some of these harder scenes you can definitely see the processing working like here when it's trying to bring up the Shadows, it's pretty noisy but still overall color and exposure and white balance and the details are all great with the pixel 6's video and i'm really happy to see that and then another thing i noticed the pixel really cranks iso all the way up in the viewfinder. So you can see a lot of noise before you snap a photo and start the processing, like it's very easy to see this here in a screen recording. But that's what it's doing you can see in a selfie viewfinder, especially it'll. Look super jacked up and really noisy just to keep a high frame rate and shutter speed when you're taking the selfie and then you take it and you see it process and then everything sharpens up and it looks miles better

Pixel 6/6 Pro Review: Almost Incredible!

 I figured I'd try the Pixel, having a few friends who love their older Pixels.  The good stuff first:  (+) The camera is truly amazing. I have a professional DSLR and I can say that this is by far the best phone camera I've ever used. The S9 was great, but it had some issues with artifaction and contrast

OnePlus has notoriously awful customer service and the phone wasn't water resistant, so that was a dealbreaker for me, and then Huawei was too expensive and had at least the threat of compatibility issues.  Not sure how they swung this but I guess Google would have it figured out.  (+) Battery life is good. I can get through the entire day of moderate use without charging it until I go to bed. With heavy use, I imagine I'll have to charge it before then, so I'll see how it goes on a few upcoming trips, but my S9 wasn't able to hold a charge past noon on a good day, so it's a huge improvement there

So close, Google! And yet.

I've come to the Pixel 6 from an LG G6, which I really liked. I was happy with the camera, but its OS was dated and the battery was near its end, so it was time to switch. My wife just bought a new Samsung phone, and she wasn't thrilled with it. I'm just a little concerned about the potential for Chinese spyware, and other bad actors on the web, so I'm happy to have the Pixel's extended security and OS upgrades

Still a lot to learn

 It's a better overall camera system. But this, the hardware is so good in the pixels and you can see that promise in those 10 out of 10 shots that the pixel fan in me is like hoping. maybe in one or two software updates it'll be a 10 out of 10 more often. But until then because we don't know if that's ever gonna happen

 I can't get a signal in half the places i go, where i phones, my old pixel 5, and Samsung's have no trouble. Also random disconnects from network. Please ditch Samsung modem on Pixel 7!

I've been using this phone for 3 weeks. The most impressive thing about this phone in my opinion is not the camara. Don't get me wrong, the camera is as good as everybody else said. However, I don't think the image quality here can replace what I get from my DSLR or my mirror less

 Unlike before that I have to run to my bedroom to charge my phone right away because it's about to die in 5 minutes. What a difference sensation. Just an FYI, my old phone was a 2 years old Samsung with 3600mAh battery. My wife's is a year old iPhone that battery always run out at the end of the day

  The Emui, I don't know why people complain so much about Huawei interface. Some people said it's look too much like iPhone with all the apps present on screen. Well, there's a drawer too if you choose to use it and make it feels more like Samsung. To me, there are some features I like that easier than Samsung and there are some features that's harder as well

 Don't get me wrong, the camera is as good as everybody else said. However, I don't think the image quality here can replace what I get from my DSLR or my mirror less. It's just above average when compare to other phones in the market and having full set of lenses that fits in my pocket is quite a new experience. Now, back to what I love the most about P30 Pro, it's the battery

The Leica quad camera is the star of the show, but the Huawei P30 Pro excels in other areas too and offers a compelling flagship experience. Whom to believe -- an industry bigwig or twelve-lies-a-day-Donnie? Politics aside, the Huawei P30 Pro packs a great camera into an excellent phone. Did I mention the 2-day battery?

 After three weeks I've adjusted to most of the software differences.  The current price at Amazon for a Huawei P30 Pro is about 60% of the best new iPhones and much less than Samsung's.
