 You have a little bit of bezel at the top and the bottom for this day and age and this thing looked exponentially better than the Pixel 3 Xl. Although the 3xl was more premium, this thing just looked like a better phone now. We had the Usb type C port on this thing and we had a headphone jack as well, which was actually pretty interesting. The fact that they put that type of thing on this phone was really, really cool

 Still, you know there's some other things which I love even more about. You know, this phone than the camera, but you know it's one of those things to keep in mind. So in terms of the camera setup, that kind of covers it up. But one of my favorite things about this phone that pretty much still holds up pretty well is actually with the software

Welcome back everyone! Let's go ahead and take a look at the Google Pixel 3a and see how this specific phone holds up in 2022.. Now one thing, I will definitely tell you that a lineup from Google is actually one of my favorite lineups that they actually make. I think the Pixel 3a devices, which were the originators in the way, were awesome devices and I was so happy to see them

 So I will definitely tell you. if you're trying to get a better performing phone, I would definitely say something like the Pixel 5a may be the better route for you. I think that's going to be a better decision for most people out there and that is probably going to be the thing I would recommend majority people to do is just to go ahead and pick up the Pixel 5a in that situation, but this is still a decent performing phone and I think you know you can't really go wrong with this one either. So in terms of that, that kind of covers it up there

Google Pixel 3a In 2022! (Still Worth It?) (Review)

  I switched my service over Thursday night but needed a new, smaller SIM card which ATT gave me as I continued service with them.  Friday, I was on the phone off and on throughout the day, mostly setting it up, adding my work email and calendar, etc. I also took a walk around my campus with it, testing out the camera on about a dozen photos. By the time I got home from work, the battery was down to 17 percent

 The battery, which was charged the night before, was down to 37 percent before noon. I'm now very concerned about using this during an upcoming trip, or relying on it for work or travel. I really like the phone, but this can't continue. I may need to return it

 I also took a walk around my campus with it, testing out the camera on about a dozen photos. By the time I got home from work, the battery was down to 17 percent. 17! I had read that this didn't have a great battery, but that it would get me through the day. 5pm won't cut it

 Is anyone else having battery problems like this.  On the plus side, the included charger recharges the phone pretty quickly. But I'm not going to have the time, or outlets, to keep charging it while playing tourist.

 Since it's Google, you'll have the newest Android OS's at launch and support for longer than other manufacturers. That was one thing I missed dearly about my old Nexus, and I'm glad Google is finally back in the sub-$500 market again so I can take advantage of it. I think my favorite feature about the UI is that I can turn on "dark mode" 24/7 so that I never have white bars or menus anywhere, just nice black ones. It's really saved my eyes

 I also like that the volume and brightness on the phone has a very wide range of levels, much moreso than any other phone I've had before, which always had "silent," "soft-ish" and "extremely loud" with little in between. I can turn down the volume to almost-silent and the brightness to actually quite dark without installing third party apps. Also, there's no bloatware on the phone when you purchase it. That's really nice

 It doesn't have 5G, but the amount of features you get for less than $400 more than justifies the price.  CAMERA: Google has really outdone itself with the Pixel 3a's. The camera is fantastic; I no longer need to bring a dedicated digital camera when I'm traveling or attending major celebrations like graduations that need a good camera. It's performance in low-light conditions is fantastic and really something to write home about

 Sure, my brother's iPhone 11 Pro has a better camera, but he paid over $1000 for it, so that's not a fair comparison. I'd say that the Pixel 3A's camera and camera software is every bit as good as my wife's Galaxy 10, if not better.  BATTERY LIFE: A full charge doesn't last the 2-3 days that my old Moto Z Play did, but the rapid charging feature makes it not matter as much. In my daily commute of 20-30 minutes to work, I can add about 30-40% to my battery, which means I never have to worry about my phone going dead, even if I forget to charge it at night

Best features in an Android for under $400

 A lot of budget phones nowadays or mid-range phones are still bringing the top high-end specs before they sacrifice with other things. Pixel 3a does not have top high-end specs. It has a Snapdragon 670, the Adreno 615, four gigs of Ram, and so if Pixel 3 was already having performance issues, what's this phone gonna be like? Well, I'm here to tell you. after using this phone for a little while, it performs kind of just like the Pixel 3, meaning it's fine, it gets the job done, you will notice it's not as smooth as the higher end ones, and it definitely struggles with Ram management

 like that same fingerprint reader on the back, the same squeeze for assisting is still there, the same really good haptic motor which is underrated for stuff like typing and notifications, the same super smart software experience that will be updated first in line, and an even better battery life. and then of course, the best camera quality of any phone. So there are other things that are more important to some people than just the camera, In which case, there's a whole world of other phones in this world that you can look into like I mentioned, But if you're in it for the best possible photo quality and the absolute best software experience for 400 bucks, you're looking at it right here. Pixel 3a, Simple as that, So there you have it

 It's just fine. So, this phone also has slower internal storage than other flagships, and I can tell in the speed of opening a lot of bigger apps and bigger files. But you know it's not killing me. And then one part of the performance of this phone that I can say actually does much better than its older brother is the battery life because you're only pushing a 1080p display and lower power internals, and this phone has killed it

 with the battery life, I've consistently got over five hours of screen on time with the 3a usually more and on heavy days I could just barely kill it in a day. So this is refreshing because some phones in this Budget class do cut down on the batteries, some don't, but this one actually has physically larger batteries than the flagship brothers, so that was kind of nice to see battery life good on the 3a, so that just leaves the last part. The part that Google knows they have on lock the cameras on the Pixel. So the 3a has the exact same hardware for the single rear camera, same sensor, same glass, same Ois, and everything on the front

Google Pixel 3a Review: A for Ace!

 To help find it, I said, "Hey Google, what's the weather today?" I spoke in a low to moderate voice, thinking the phone was in the same room I was in. But, when Google responded, the phone was in another room down the hall. Wow.

 The phone's performance is good, the camera is good, the microphone is super sensitive, to a fault. I stood in my bedroom looking for my phone.  However, the large screen and zippy processor apparently use a lot of juice. The battery doesn't last as long as the same size battery lasted in my Moto Z Play that this phone replaced. Still, does well. I would buy this same phone again if it supported 5G, which it doesn't

 As night mode on, the FE's ultrawide is flat out superior to the S20 Plus, with consistently better sharpness. When zooming at night with the telephoto, the FE produces better results as well, with improved detail, lower noise, and wider dynamic range than the S20 Plus. The difference isn't as pronounced with night mode on though. Both produce some pretty good photos

 Overall, it looks elegant, though you will notice that the bag is made of plastic here, not premium Gorilla Glass. The frame is aluminum though, and you still get full IP68 water and dust resistance you'd expect from a high-end Samsung phone. On the front is a flat 6.5 inch Super AMOLED display with a small punch hole for the selfie cam

 The resolution is a bit lower than the regular S20 at 1080p, but it still brings that fast 120Hz refresh rate. And it's worth noting that if you turn the regular S20's display to its fast 120Hz refresh rate, its resolution will dial down to 1080p as well. The high refresh rate makes scrolling and moving elements on screen look much smoother to the eye. It isn't adaptive to content like some other solutions we've seen though

 We had a less than pleasant experience from the ultrawide though. The frame rate isn't steady with the stabilization on, and you get some jerky movement every now and then. The telephoto is somewhere in between. The frame rate is constant, but is still a little shaky

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE full review

 A few months after the release of the Galaxy S20, Samsung has come out with a leaner and

 more affordable version, the Galaxy S20 FE, or fan edition.

 So what do the fans get here, and what sorts of trade-offs come with a lower price?

 According to Samsung, the Galaxy FE is a smartphone built for the fans.

 Not sure what that means exactly, but it does bring premium features like a flagship chipset

 and high refresh rate screen for a competitive price.

 There's a 5G capable version which uses a Snapdragon 865.
