While it may be a negative for some, righties and lefties with medium to small hands will like the symmetrical shell and compact proportions. Add to this features list adjustable polling rate &#40;125, 250, 500, 1,000 Hz&#41;, an onboard DPI/CPI adjustment button &#40;400 - 1,200 in steps of 100&#41;, and customizable lighting, and it should be clear why we took a liking to this unit. 
On the downside, the O- has just 6 buttons at the user's disposal which requires the use of software to remap. Also, the light weight takes a bit of getting used to &mdash; we never did feel at ease when playing MMOs and the like. Indeed, this is a speed mouse best fit for FPS gaming where quick flicks are key. If you like what this model has to offer but are concerned about sizing, there is a medium option available as well.

This is where my positivity ends. My issue with the MZ1 starts with the right side of the mouse. Unlike the generous comfort grooves on the left and front of the mouse, the right side is straight. This isn’t a problem in relaxed fingertip grip where your ring and pinky finger are either straight or in the areas where there are no mouse holes

 You could accurately use this mouse without touching the mouse with your ring and pinky fingers. The comfort grooves really provide a strong controlled grip that many users will benefit from. The front of the mouse is very low and embodies Zy’s design goal of trying to turn a mouse into a pen/pencil. I would even go so far as to say that holding the mouse can feel like holding a fat whiteboard marker

 The short length of the mouse and high rear make this an extremely stable relaxed fingertip mouse.

 The MZ1 is front heavy which makes the inclusion of RGB baffling. To balance the mouse a user has to grip closer to the front which puts the fingers ahead of the sensor. This limits movement possible by the wrist and fingers in-game.

 The mouse does use a 2.4GHz connection though, and the DPI maxes out at 19,000. DPI steps range from 400-800-1600-3200 by default. DPI steps are indicated by an LED at the bottom of the mouse

**Shape/Coating:** The shape of this mouse is low at the front while relatively flat which then dips in the middle and has an extended lower back. The Model O is typically compared to the FK series of Zowie mice. The mouse shares a matte coating across the whole body ignoring side buttons and DPI switch which are both coated glossy

**Scroll Wheel:** The Model O wireless scroll wheel uses an F-switch green encoder, while the original Model O used an F-switch red encoder. The scroll wheel here feels very smooth in use, while the steps are subtle but defined, the switch used here is also a Huano green. The scroll wheel rubber itself doesn’t feel great in my opinion and gets oily rather fast when looking at previous usage with other Model O’s.

 The only real negative feedback I can give for the software is that there isn’t any indication of the battery life percentage. All you’re given is a battery icon with segments on the battery you have left. I’ve spoken with Glorious about this already, and they’re working on it.

This has been changed since the mouse’s announcement. It’s more in the center now, and when gripping the mouse it’s a little ahead of both the Model O and GPW’s sensor positions, but not by much. 

Weight on my scale is 49g without the cable, a very noticeable difference from the GPW.

 I think if your hands are slightly smaller than mine (1-2cm) you’ll like this mouse a lot. Finger positioning is good (two-three, two-two might be a little uncomfortable). Keep in mind I did not use the original Xornet or Spawn so I cannot provide a point of reference from there.

Scroll wheel is a full diffuser, nice if you like RGB. Ridges are not very pronounced, I prefer the GPW as a solid middle ground between this and the Model O. Steps are similar to a Model O’s, not very tactile. Again here I prefer the GPW’s wheel steps, the MM720’s is usable but I’m not a fan

I might be from OCN in the past but I ain't no mouse enthusiast however LOD is pretty important when you're playing.

First one gave me cause for concern but after using it I don't feel any latency at least comparable to the VU and the LOD is what you expect from a good sensor rather a jumped up mediocre sensor that the Viper Mini rocks, I know a mediocre sensor is okay in today's context but the high LOD isn't that fun. It's still not something you can overlook.

Possibly bad wireless design? Crappy feet you cant easily change? Possibly bad materials? Sensor feels off?

And lastly they're both too light. My Viper Ultimate is actually scuffed on one side and good on the other but it's still too light

So i have been using this mouse for about a week and half and I have very few complaints. It really is a top tier mouse for the money. The scroll wheel feels so nice and clicks are nice and crisp. The build is fantastic for a 60 dollar mouse and of course you get that rgb which is always a plus

Great top tier Mouse

 Whenever I lift up my mouse, there is a slight breeze of air that cools my sweaty hands, which feels satisfying. The shape of the mouse is perfect. I have medium-sized hands, and this mouse feels comfortable and perfect. I can easily palm grip this mouse comfortably

 The mouse's honeycomb design and lightness are what really make this mouse what it is. Perfect for gaming and even daily use.

The sensor being used in the MOW is Glorious’ own proprietary sensor, with the name BAMF. It’s meant to be similar to the PixArt 3370 sensor, however I’m not 100% sure. Personally I've had no big issues with this sensor: no noticeable input lag, tracking felt accurate to my hand movement, no spinouts on any of my pads. I’ve noticed some angle snapping though, also seen complaints of it spinning out on the Ice pad and MP510

 When it comes to texture, it has rubber with indents, I quite like the feel on my finger. It does pick up oils quite easily though, fortunately I don’t mind too much as it’s just the scroll wheel.

Firmware: Changing the DPI is actually _really_ intuitive, although you can't really do it on the fly as it involves lifting the mouse off the pad, holding down both mouse buttons until you see the cursor bounce, then using L/R to adjust the DPI (which causes the cursor to bounce to indicate what DPI your at in multiples of 100), then lifting the mouse and holding both buttons again until the cursor bounces N times, where N is your chosen DPI / 100.

Edit 2: With the led’s at 100% on a single color it lasted around 15 hours before the lights turned off and scroll wheel flashing red to indicate low battery. I never felt any loss of performance as the battery drained to this point with 6% charge left.

Wireless Model O just arrived

**con:** The big con for me was that this mouse has a dpi deviation of around 20% at 800dpi in the software for me. You can work around this problem and set the dpi down to 750dpi in the software to achieve a deviation of around 3%. I have tried an unofficial firmware update to the version  V1104  which got me to a dpi deviation of 8%.

Really thick pure ptfe mouse feet that glide really well for a stock mouse, only complain here is that the mouse feet could need a touch more rounded edges, if i press the mouse too hard into the mousepad i can feel it. 

 Overall i think it's still a really good shape, could be a tiny amount less wide for my preference but nothing major. The dimensions of my hands are 18.5x10cm.

**Shape:** I would describe this mouse as a shorter and wider Fk1 with flat sides. For me it lacked the pinky support that my Model O has. The sides flare out at the back, but it is pretty suddle. I was fingertipping more on this shape due to it's shorter design

I never liked the MOW shape but this is the best Glorious mouse I've tried. Clicks are much improved from earlier wired Glorious mice but the battery life is a huge letdown for me. Don't use RGB unless you want to charge this thing daily.

Shape and weight had potential but I was disappointed by some QC issues with button wobble and some cut corners on things like the small thin feet. Side buttons are also trash on this. A bit conflicted on this one as it could have turned out much better than the end product did. 

It's often compared to the S2 but the Ultra Symm is a bit smaller. My clicks didn't feel as good as they could have on my copy but it was an easy shape to adjust to and I aimed quite well wit hit.
