The Gigabyte M27Q is the best monitor for Mac in the budget category that we've tested. It's a great monitor for most uses, with a 27 inch, 1440p screen, great viewing angles, and an exceptional SDR color gamut. It's very bright in SDR, and the matte anti-reflective coating delivers decent reflection handling, so viewability isn't an issue in most viewing environments.

To be honest, the FI32Q is the first monitor we've tested in a while that feels like it was actually designed by gamers to fulfill what they want, not just what's going to look impressive on a spec sheet. Its LG panel may be the same one used by about five other manufacturers, but so far the Gigabyte is the only one we've seen that really lets it shine with a host of added features we didn't even know we wanted until we saw them here. The deeply customizable menu combined with pleasant surprises like the integrated KVM and a magnifying glass built into the OSD put this monitor well above the competition. Rivals like Acer (which we formerly thought one of the best when it came to add-ons and OSD customization) will have to start piling a lot more into the package to keep up with the Aorus brand

Like most IPS monitors, it has wide viewing angles that make it great for sharing content or playing co-op games. Its reflection handling is only decent, but it gets more than bright enough to overcome intense glare, meaning visibility won't be an issue in well-lit rooms.

I just wanted some damn color in my games for once Edit- so under further investigation with this monitor games don’t run at 10 but. Even at 120hz and even as low as 60hz games will not run at 10bit. As for color, I kept both monitors at the default color settings out of the box - the Dell had great saturation, possibly oversaturated. The M27Q appears less saturated, and its overall color out of the box appears more neutral, while the Dell appeared warm. Regardless of which you prefer, both monitors' color can be adjusted. However, no amount of calibration can fix the Dell's low contrast ability; the M27Q wipes the floor with the S2721DGF in this respect
