  I'm still not happy with the liner lock, which I have to close with my index finger tip instead of my fat thumb.  That said, the blade is certainly easier to open than a SAK.

Gerber Armbar Drive. Disappointing.

I would steer clear of the Gerber Armbar tools, they are about the size and compactness you’d want but they aren’t built well. Like, a full sized driver but it doesn’t lock?? Really poorly designed

 I have a dilemma with my "next" MT that I cannot solve, so I was wondering, whether more educated users might be able to recommend me some MT I might have missed. I am a proud user of a PST, which has been my fav for a very long time and is still in a like new shape (I guess other PST users can say the same about the sturdiness of their tools). I need a compact tool of the same quality and functionality to put on the keychain. 
Here is a short list of the things I have tried so far:

Gerber dime. It was meh and has been cannibalized to put its tools into other MTs, besides its plyers were too small.

Mini Bear Jaws Tool - that's the one I  recently came back to - it is nice but the plyers are too small. Quality-wise it is on par with PST. I fitted screwdrivers from Dime into it.

LT micra - it had no plyers, so I replaced the scissors with Gerber's plyers - It's ok, but has the same problem as the bear jaws tool - the plyers are tiny. 

LT mini tool - on par with PST, but the lack of a flat and philips screwdrivers are a huge con. It is almost as bulk as the PST, but lacks these vital tools. I considered trying to make these tools out of handle extensions but it was cumbersome so I flipped it. 

The last one I have bought was the SOG powerpint, which has turned out to be a huge dissapointment. The steel it is made of is supersoft. I managed to bend the small screwdriver, when trying to unscrew small brass (!) screws. Besides the lack of standard sized screwdrivers is another con, while the standard bit holder is a good thing. 

So here comes the main question - is there a MT compact enough to put on a keychain, of a decent quality and with a knife, flat and phillips screwdrivers of a normal size and full sized plyers? If it could accomodate for full-sized bits, that would be even better. I am considering everything smaller that PST.

PS putting a PST on a keychain is definitely a possibility problem is that mine keeps opening and I would have preferred smth more compact than that.

Advice on the next MT

I'd also perfer to have a clip, and it would also be a plus to have pliers, but it's not essential. So far I've looked at the Gerber Armbar/Slim Drive, and the Leatherman Skeletool. * The Armbar seems like it could be perfect, if it had a clip and the bit driver locked, but I've also heard some less than kind things about quality. * The Skeletool is very tempting, but the non-standard bits might be a deal breaker

It's durable, compact, lightweight, very dependable, won't break, stays Sharp, and exceeds in whatever I use it for.

Multi-tool for every day use!

 I'd gladly pay more if there was a second generation with a clip, better scissors, and a locking bit driver.  8 MONTH UPDATE: I originally rated this 3-stars, but after 8 months of use I'm bumping it up to 4-stars. I'm still disappointed in the non-locking bit driver, the scissors are still subpar, and the non-locking awl is still a weird choice that I never use. BUT, I have to admit this thing is winning me over for two reasons

 If they added a lock to the bit driver I would say buy this immediately. At $40 I don't think I'd buy this again as it is, but I found the orange version for $32, and I'm okay with my purchase. I'd gladly pay more if there was a second generation with a clip, better scissors, and a locking bit driver.  8 MONTH UPDATE: I originally rated this 3-stars, but after 8 months of use I'm bumping it up to 4-stars

 The T4 is all bulky, sharp corners that have scraped my hand more times than I can count while the Armbar practically disappears in my pocket and stays out of the way until I need it. It isn't a perfect tool, or even close to it, but it's a good value if you find it for $30 or so, and it comes in handy because you probably won't leave it at home.

 I also really like the pry/hammer portion in the bottom of the handle. I use the multi tools for this all of the time and I am glad someone planned on me doing that.

The driver really does need a lock

I really like this knife. It’s practical. It doesn’t have you a bunch of useless tools and I’m never going to need. The weight is good, it feels solid without being cumbersome

I like the prybar feature, I haven’t seen it before and when I read about it in the product description, I was skeptical, but it is well executed and useful.  The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the lack of a lock on the screwdriver

 So while we still have the same needle nose with your regular pliers and then 154cm replaceable cutters and hard wire cutters to differences that we need to notate here, the first of which is it has it integrates that that crimper on the top - and I could tell You from experience that that crimper is it's pretty much worthless. It doesn't do a good job because it's too far away from the fulcrum point and then it really doesn't crimp down well on a lot of different stuff. So it's kind of specific it does.  I have the wave plus and the charge plus and that's the fact that it doesn't have an awl and to to put it all in here. You have to get rid of one tool and the one tool I'd like to see gone is the little micro driver not gone completely, because I would like to see him create a bit that would integrate it into the main driver. Where you know it's just. I think it's time for that, there's other implements that could go there

 You see how that kind of tends to want to slip out of there. So generally, what I have to do with the wave. It'S kind of give it a little bit of a flat spot first with the pliers, and then I'm able to pull it back there and then it will crimp in I mean, let's see if we can get that to illuminate a little better. So we can get a little better angle, then it it crimps down and it does a pretty decent job

 So it's kind of specific it does. Okay, if you're doing like a 10 or a 12 gauge butt splice connector. But you really got to put a lot of force behind it and, like I said, because it's far away from the focal point, it kind of doesn't work very well. Which is why I tend to lean more towards the wave and the charge plus, because they don't incorporate that that can also kind of get in the way if you're, using the needlenose

Leatherman Charge+ TTI

The Skeletool was my first Leatherman. That's how I finally came to understand the price.  Too much time and money had been wasted on cheap crappy multitools.  The Skeletool was useful, but it gave me a taste for what I could be doing with a multitool

Why didn't I know how much I would use this? My testimony, inside.

My Charge TTi blade snapped off so I initiated a warranty claim. Instructions ask to send the tool to a shipping company in British Columbia who then forwards it to Leatherman in the US. My tool was delivered to the shipping company on Jan 8, 2021. Finally received an email on Feb 2, 2021 that it was received in the US and sent for repair

 I forget where I saw where that was explained to me, but the waves are here. They aren't is jimping. These are here just to let you know what blade it is that you're looking at so let's go ahead and look at the main thing here. The pliers come to a really fine point: they're, really solid in hand

 Like that, it holds an edge, really well has a with a liner lock on the outside and nice thing about this is the knife is accessible from the outside? A bunch of tools are actually accessible from the outside and, what's really nice is every single thing on this, except for the pliers locks into place. So you're not going to you know, be screwing in with the driver and fold it over on your hand, and you know, hurt your knuckles or something like that. So let's go ahead and get into this. We saw the knife blade

 This one, a couple more militaristic ones. Maxpedition makes some really good stuff too, but it has this pocket clip that you can where's that right here on the bottom end, where, like all your small attachments, are you have the space in here and you can just insert the pocket clip. I can get it here with camera till it clicks and then it's in there and then all you do when you want to pull it out, is to just depress your lock again just locks right here in this little launch. So it's kind of cool

 If you get. One of these is a bit driver extender. So what you do is you just pull out your bit cut your extender end clips right in, and you just put your bit in there. Then it gives you all kinds of reach to get back in somewhere with a bit really worth its weight in gold
