 There price-wise, as I mentioned earlier, it's $ 1.99. Okay. So, with all that kind of like overview stuff done, let's go into the menus, we're going to walk through it step by step and just sort of dive in through and show you how it all works up

 I kind of I guess, merging the gap there a little bit for those that want that. Now this has claimed at 15 hours of battery life, which is pretty solid. It is a monochrome display, meaning black on white display, so that seems about right, yeah, it's kind of same ballpark as the wahoo bolt is obviously there's a little bit smaller, both from a screen standpoint as well as a unit perspective, but still 15 hours is pretty Solid, the weight on here is 30 grams, so basically just under half of that of the new edge, five, twenty plus or basically the five twenty which sits at 61 and 63 grams respectively. So pretty darn impressive

99 and it's a dbiddy, it's it's. Definitely smallest by computer Garmin has made that ever connection to a power meter. It'S not much bigger than the edge 25 and kind of 20 series that you saw in the past a tiny little square thing. It'S really really tiny, but let's talk about what it is, and I think this Sal Holloway's represents the future of what Garmin is going to from a underlying platform standpoint

But the last few releases I found my loyalty and a brand wavering and no, I won't mind admitting I've been trying over brands. But the H 130 have reminded me that when garbin really concentrates and gets everything right, it gets him really right and the H 130 is a really good computer. So I'm yeah definitely take a closer look if you're in the market for a new computer in this price range, it gets a lot of things very, very right, so yeah thumbs up Garmin

 I think it does what you want from a cycling computer. Let'S stop it ride. Okay, so you press, stop, wait! A second and you'll. Get your distance and time make a resume, save ride or discard no actually done any

 Let'S get you inside and turn it on, I'm inside the cursor tree, so we won't get any data from the satellite, so you have to imagine you're outside, but you can still run you through how it works, and this is the home screen. You get it's the first screen you see when you turn it on actually see at the top. You'Ve got a clock at 2:45 a moment. You'Ve got some important data, such as The Bachelor life

 And it also gets a barometric altimeter which allows it to do the climb pro information and tell you how much elevation you've gained and all of that information. It is substantially more expensive than options from cat eye or lazy, which do come in much cheaper and as an entry point because bear in mind this and the edge 130 are garmin's entry-level models. It is quite steep at 169 pounds 99p. It is a really considered purchase, but if you actually consider what this device can do, that includes giving you training, information and helping you get fitter

 For those of you that, like to ride connected, i've, actually found that the edge 130 plus holds its connection to my mobile phone better than any other garmin device, which i was surprised by, because i expected their bigger devices to have bigger sensors. But no. This has by far been the most stable in general. I found it to be a remarkably stable device and at first that's because i thought it maybe did lessen as a devices

 It'S really neat and it works really. Well, it picked up. My heart rate monitor straight away and moved it across when i set this device up, and it is a nice little update because in the past my main criticism was garmin. Is that they're slightly complicated to set up the garmin connect app, doesn't work brilliantly? It'S a little bit counter-intuitive, so these strides they're taking to change that are really useful

 So that's a real plus for this fans of the edge 130, including myself. I rated that computer really highly will be pleased to see that garmin have made no changes to this design. It still keeps that diminutive 1.8 inch display and the same button-led small frame, it's the smallest computer that garmin make, and actually i think, it's probably one of the smallest computers available on the market and honestly in a world where things keep getting bigger

I’m currently running with an Apple Watch S3. Used to use the Strava app but hate the lack of recorded metrics so now using the Apple Workouts app then importing to Strava. I’m current a 5-10km runner with dreams of long endurance distances. I would say I’m more of a data-loving recreational runner who likes to push myself than a super serious runner

To clarify, I will only be using the Garmin for sport right now, I intend to keep my AW as my every day watch at least until it dies. 

So here I am, looking at Garmins. Initially I was interested in the 45S as it’s cheap enough to not make me feel guilty about having 2 watches. It seems to more or less do what I’ll want it to do in terms of designing training runs and has the same if not more metrics I’m currently getting from my Apple Watch. I’m looking at buying 2nd hand and I think I could get one for under £100

TL;DR: I’m a recreational 10k runner, mostly trail with training on road. I could buy a second hand 45S for less than £100 (submitted an offer for £65 so that could be the lowest price), or a brand new 645 music for £199 - are the additional features redundant for me or would it be mad to not buy the 645 for only £100 more?!

This Garmin looks and feels cheap. I have had Garmin products from bike products, watches and even aviation products and this one is a total disappointment

 Other units offer that functionality, but their management interfaces are much less desirable. I’ll take the ease-of-use tradeoff here.

 And, honestly, one of those should absolutely be a power meter. If you don’t have incoming power data, you’re missing out on some of the best features here. How'S it going folks i'm dez with, despite - and it's been two years since wahoo introduced their element realm by computer, which added full-blown mapping and navigation to their element by computer lineup and i've used their own for quite some time and there's plenty of things i like About it and there's also some things that i'm not so keen about so in today's video i'll, be sharing nine things that i like and don't like about the wahoo element, rom so number one on the list of things i like about the element, rom is, i Love the button configuration with these three buttons right on the front of the device. These buttons just make it really easy to use when you're. Actually, writing where all you have to do is just use one finger where you can just register lap pause the workout change, data pages and other functions, depending on which screen you're on with having the buttons accessible from the front of the device. It makes it just a lot easier to use than buttons that are mounted on the side of the device which generally necessitate you having to hold the device by both sides to press a button

 The details of the route are very clear where it gives you the distance to the next cue, your heading, the direction of the next turn and the name of the street or trail that you're supposed to turn on. And what i also like about this interface is that they use contrast really well here, where it's clear and easy to see the direction and road name with the black background and white fonts, which just makes it stick out. There'S also a very detailed list of all the turns of the route, and these were available for me, whether i used the element app to create the route or if it was a route that was synced over from strava and even mountain bike routes from mtb project. Where it showed trail names when the rom was initially launched, i think that the turn names were only available if you created the route using the device itself or using the element smartphone app, but it does seem that the queue names are now available using the supported

 All that much throughout the interface i do like that they didn't go overboard and use colors everywhere, which actually could be distracting, but i do feel like a few. More splashes of color could be nice, so you'll see colors utilized sparingly like on the map page, which basically has main roads and yellow and then bodies of water and blue. However, emojis are in color, so you can see the inappropriate emojis that your friends may be sending you in all their glory number three on the list of things i like about. The rom is the interface and i think they put a lot of thought into this

 So it shares the same device size as the element but retains that sort of hallmark of wahoo aerodynamics. Now we're who have said that aerodynamics wasn't the only reason they designed the computer to be like this. So it's not as fast as the wahoo bolt through the air, but it is done to make it look nice and to keep a very similar aesthetic across a family of devices which it does very well so Wow. Who is yet to jump into a touchscreen

 So I've got some scales here and the device itself weighs 95 grams and if we pair it with its out front mount, it weighs 140 grams. So, moving on to the device's setup process, this is really truly where all of Wahoos devices shine through compared to the rest of the market, because the setup process for the element - Rome, just like the element and just like the element bolt - is all done through your Smartphone or through the wha-hoo element app, it really is a joy to use and using the app makes a very seamless process and it's much faster to setup or Wow who device than it is to set up a garmin device. So all you do, is you pair it to your mobile phone? You scan the QR code that comes up on the screen of the computer when you select pay your phone and then you're free to set it up. How you want it to look now, users, data screens a little differently to how Garmin users data screens, the maximum that you can get on

 It does come with a price tag to match and at 299 pounds it is an expensive, cycling, computer and it is up. There was the rest of them, such as Garmin's 830 device, which cost 350 pounds or their 530 device, which costs around 300 pounds as well, and for that money you get much of the same functionality that you would expect with any other top-end flagship computer, including similar Features whether that sensor, pairing or navigational turn-by-turn directions and we'll get into all of these a bit later on and how well the wahoo roam does them, but before we do we'll touch on the devices wait.
