It's a little slower than the X-T30 (0.05-second), but is decidedly more consistent than the X-A5, which could focus as fast when it used its limited phase detection coverage area, but slowed to as long as 0.5-second when focusing away from the central area of the frame

It's always present always doing its thing. It looks great but be forewarned if you shoot RAW and then use third-party software other than the Fujifil...

The Fujifilm X-A7 ($699.95 with 15-45mm lens) is the latest entry in the company's entry-level mirrorless camera series. It's built around a touch-based interface, easy enough for casual snappers to use, but with manual controls to help you learn the craft. Image quality is excellent, autofocus is vastly improved versus the previous-generation X-A5, and 4K video recording is an option

The x100 V resolves almost all of this, while adding more. Besides, the redesign lens now delivers, satisfyingly crisp results near and far the screen...

Clean HDMI out with 1080p/60 and 4k/30 through HDMI. But 4k is only delivered when you press the physical shutter or record button in movie mode, otherwise it is just the default 1080p/60 idle output. The only downside to 4k output is that OBS only recognizes it when set to device default and you have to press the record button again to get access to other resolutions and framerates. I think the continuous autofocus is decent but annoying

Although the camera has a high-speed recording mode that shoots slow-motion footage at 120 fps, it's unfortunately only available in 1080p. The camera also lacks any stabilization feature, though the short focal length of its built-in lens means you can still get usable footage out of it if you don't want to use a tripod or gimbal. That said, the fixed focal length can also be a drawback if you prefer to shoot video with a zoom lens. All in all, though, this makes for a surprisingly good hybrid camera, especially for travel or less advanced video work

The product box was pre-opened I could tell from the sides and some equipment inside did not have plastic bag coverage. The AF is poor quality compared to other cameras. a bit disappointed with Fujifilm. I am planning on buying the T-4 but am now hesitant after this product

Its autofocus system does a reasonably good job tracking moving faces and objects, though it can sometimes lose track of fast-moving subjects.

The most important of which is that it needed to be small and lightweight. I love my DSLR - and when I'm shooting portraits at a park or getting shot of the milky way, that camera is my go to. But for every day walking around, I needed something that I can gather quickly and start shooting. A cell phone is ok, but they lack the sensor size, dynamic range, low light performance and a decent optical zoom
