 My room does have some light leak as it is a loft with windows (do have room darkening blinds tho), and we can easily see the image during the day. Night time viewing is obviously better, but this one does pretty well with some light leak. Lens shift. This one is HUGE

I was able to center the projector and the screen with just a little effort, so I did not need to use any digital image manipulation (keystone, etc) to get a good image. I did use the zoom and vertical lens shift to span the 120" screen and lower the image since my projector is mounted 6" from the ceiling, as is my screen

Excellent first projector!

 Warranty and support is two years parts and labor with a great two year rapid replacement program if you have a warranty issue. A lot of the competition comes with a single year warranty and no replacement program. Too bad. Brightness is a key strength for both 2D and 3D viewing

 The Epson approaches 700 lumens calibrated and has about 2,000 wall-melting lumens in its brightest mode and that's even after adjusting the mode for a better picture. All in all, that means large screens are fine for 2D and even 3D looks fine at 124 inches diagonal, although like your local Cineplex it could still be a little brighter. That's all the time for this shorter video. Bottom line, the just over $2,500 price translates into a great value as it buys you a projector with lots of lumens for theaters or for other films

 But the glasses for this model are lighter and the 3D quality is just great. I'd so rather wait out the Blu Ray than go out to a theater. In fact, I paid $47 for two tickets for the latest Jurassic World movie and I know the Blu Ray will have 9 hours of extra footage, 3 discs and I get to keep it, for probably half that price. And no one will be checking their texts around me or kicking my chair! BTW, my set up is for a 140" screen

 Very little crosstalk if at all in some features. I was a little disappointment that the glasses from the 3010 do not work with this as I purchased several extra. But the glasses for this model are lighter and the 3D quality is just great. I'd so rather wait out the Blu Ray than go out to a theater

Fantastic Upgrade From the 3010 - 3D Quality Has Greatly Improved

 I was blown away by my 8350. It was as crisp as my old (early 2000's) 32" Vizio 1080p TV, yet it threw a picture that covered my entire wall.  When I first got my 5030UB, I didnt have that same blown away effect. It had the same resolution after all

After 4 years of daily use and 4 years of tech advances, its still a great projector

 Once I bought the projector (and waited weeks for it to arrive), I started feeling like my Monoprice speaker setup was a little lean... I somehow got my wife to also agree to a sonic upgrade

Built my own Atmos theater to be better than my local AMC!

 The remote is small and hard to see in the dark, though it is back-lit once you press a button, i find the controls a little cumbersome to navigate but the menus are pretty straight forward. One of my favorite features is that it saves zoom and position settings so you can just select a preset and go back and forth between watching super widescreen movies and the more TV friendly 1.85 aspect ratio movies as well once you zero them all in. Thats a feature that was missing in the comparably priced Sony model that helped make my decision even easier

JVC Announces 3 New 8K Laser Home Cinema Projectors

 There are three indicator lights to the top right when viewing from the front of the unit and to the top is a stripe which runs the length of the body and it has the JVC, HDR and ISF-C3 logos at the lens end and 4K DILA logos at the rear. The projector is available in a black and white finish. Around the back we have the connections and control ports with the power socket to the bottom of the back plate. From the top left we have the 3D sync input for the emitter and to the right of this are the two HDMI 2
