 You'Ve got the amt folded ribbon. Tweeter you've got two, i think six and a half inch woofers and then you've got two. What are they three or four inch mid-ranges? I can't recall: y'all can look at the specs if you want to those two mid-ranges y to mid-range is output output? What'S the problem with having two mid-ranges linearity? Why? Because they're spaced so far apart! So when you have two sound sources and they're spaced, a certain width apart, well those two sound sources act well together as one sound source at lower frequencies. But as you go higher in frequency, they start acting as two separate sound sources and they start fighting each other and you want it with cone filtering and that's exactly what you have in this case with this speaker

 Well, so i don't know if this is going to be problematic for an avr contact, the manufacturer and ask them, and we do see a resonance right around 300 hertz showing up in this data, and then we see something going on here again. I'M i'm really banking. On there being a resonance right around one and a half kilohertz and combined with that cone filtering pattern that i discussed earlier thanks to the horizontal mid-ranges being placed, you know that four and a half inches apart now. One last thing i want to talk about

 Just because of the sharp dip to peak that you have in the data and we'll talk about that now, can you hear that well, yeah to a degree, if you go looking for it, you can hear it um. I will say that i wouldn't necessarily call it offensive. It'S about a plus three db bump right around one and a half k and about a minus three db dip right in that same region. Again, we'll see this in the data, but i just i don't like it

 This is a legitimate, legitimate beast of a speaker, 41 pounds and the only problem I had with it. You had so much freaking bass. I had to turn to Bass down my Yamaha 37. He calibrated and I'm like

 You could buy and I looked at all the $ 200 speakers. They were all good and I was like, oh my god, a $ 200 speaker to compete with this first. It has to have a six because probably having a six and a half inch woofer and I don't know there wasn't a lot out there. So then I started looking for a new center speaker

 It's just how it turns out. It's interesting because on my side I can see the grill but it's a bit loose. Probably magnetic but because of the weight or the direction it's on, it doesn't really stick to the speaker. It's an interesting design

 Two ports, four binding posts but they're interconnected which is pretty cool. So, yeah, nice finish. Again, just like the bookshelves in the other video and the floor stands, this finish, you know, it feels like leathery. It has a bit of a leathery grain to it

 Hey Dina, in today's unboxing we'll open the box of the Amotiva C2 center speaker.

 So thanks to the guys at Amotiva New Zealand for lending us this and allowing us to open the frame here box.

 As usual, Amotiva is engineered and designed in the US. It's made in China.

 There's very few speakers that are not made in China.

 There's the high range Elacs and the Focal's are made.

 The Elacs in Germany, Focal's in France.

 But other than that, most speakers these days are made in China.

 Probably the B&W's as well, there's some there.

 In the manual there's a four pad software pad to put on the bottom of the center speaker.

 Sustainability, sustainable packaging is something that speaker manufacturers still can improve on, I think.

 You'll see the back first for no particular reason.

 It's interesting because on my side I can see the grill but it's a bit loose.

 I always felt like there was something kind of missing in the middle and from a musical perspective, they weren't necessarily something. I would want to come down to my theater room to really enjoy before that. I had run paradigm monitor, sevens uh, which were musically beautiful, but really kind of lacked that that open, airy feel and that dynamic boom that i wanted for the front of my home theater now, if you're watching, and you also have a room that you watch movies On you watch tv on and you do occasionally listen to music on you'll, be able to understand my struggle here. So i started doing some research a little while ago

 For those of you that have not watched part one uh, the unboxing. Please do so there'll be a link up here somewhere, you can go to now and you can check that out before i dive into my review itself. So i guess a very brief history as to why i ended up kind of taking the chance on these was. I was replacing definitive technology 80 60 super towers, as well as the 80 40 center, and as much as i loved them for movies

 They ran full frequency brilliantly. I can play them loud and they don't pitch. I can play them quietly and they'll still run at full dynamic range. They sound, absolutely brilliant

 Probably a third of the people that come down and sit in my theater room are fairly off axis. Like i would say, they're, you know they're 45 degrees, minimum off access and the one issue i really had with my definitive technologies was, although it sounded great for me who of course, i'm set up right in that middle in that sheldon spot. I heard she's in my spot where everything is perfect. Uh the people that were sitting off to the one side really lost a lot of vocal, so look for something that was musically balanced
