 I mean the build quality is excellent. The beam the beam is excellent, perfect, for you know, uh walking down the road in the forest still has some fruit to it, but definitely illuminates the large area, and this is not you know the the the one center hotspot and nothing on the sides, but definitely Uh gradually decreasing brightness to to the side, so very useful beam, and i really really enjoyed this using this flashlight and can definitely recommend this one to you as always, a new flashlight from hank wong's website intl.  The seller replaced my flashlight. We will see if the batteries corrode this time. I suspect the first flashlight may have been left in "firefly" mode--turned to the lowest setting rather than turned off. I don't know for sure because I hadn't been the one using it but it's an easy mistake to make
