 Well, this is going to be the part where the video starts to get subjective. Everybody hears sound differently, everybody has a different room, and everybody has different likes and dislikes when it comes to audio, so I can't say for sure if you'll like this receiver or not. With that said, personally, I was very pleased with the sound of this receiver. It had a very smooth and laid-back sound that I tend to prefer, while at the same time it still had plenty of detail and liveliness

Boy was I wrong. I just picked up a Denon AVR-S750H earlier this week for around $550. Oh my God.

This is your PSA to buy a new receiver if you have one that "works ok"

Don't like it because Denon removed the input / outputs , So you're locked into a Denon with NO share but bluetooth. You have one input on this device with NO outputs for other devices

. this Denon unit is very widely recommended, but it's an expensive pile of garbage at the moment.

 While there is about 8 months left on the 2 year Denon warranty, it's going to cost me >$100 to ship it to the nearest authorized service center whereupon they may or may not decide it's covered by the warranty. The service center said if it's determined to be covered by warranty, they'll likely just send me a refurb unit. If it's not covered by warranty, the service will cost me between $100-200 and may take several months, plus I'll be on the hook for return shipping. At which point I could have probably bought a new, more reliable unit

HDMI output died after 16 months

 Um, so here's the front of it. We've got cable bluetooth game heroes and then we've got our different sound modes: the master volume, the source input selector, zone one or two on or off the source for zone one or two tuners, presets for your radio band mode, dimmer, and status. This features the Odyssey multi Eq, so you can plug in the microphone and fine-tune this receiver to your room. It's also got built-in bluetooth and airplay, so if you have an iphone, it automatically will find it on if it's connected to the Wi-fi in your house and you don't need anything else, anybody who comes over can pair their phone

 You have the ability to hook up seven speakers so of course front, two, left, and right, the center for the front, the surround rear, left, and um, right and then even the height, rear, and height left speaker outputs. so that is a quick look at the Denon receiver. If you guys have any questions, go ahead and leave them down below. Let me know your thoughts and opinions

 We have the antenna for the Fm radio. Our subwoofer output are video inputs and outputs Monitors digital audio in coaxial, odd optical. I would say just go with optical for everything network cable if you needed that and then we can. Also, this has Hdmi pass-through so we can just route our Hdmi devices into here and then shoot it out with the monitor cable

 I think I paid about 300 refurbished on Denon's site and I just want to go over some of the features here. I have it paired on um, these Bose Acoustimass, 10s and it's really cool because this denim system has its own user interface and it supports Internet radio, Siriusxm, Pandora, Alexa, Amazon, I mean Google Home. all that good stuff is built right into that receiver and I found on the web alexa stop so we can hit this kiosk music and that's what's um, the system that's built in. it has it on most Denon products and I would really say this is a game changer for the receiver guys

I think that's pretty cool that a an Avr at this price point includes Odyssey in their Uh in their system and I will be explaining Odyssey in the clip ahead

 With my preference going to whichever speakers i just so happen to prefer in a specific application, so next, let's talk about power output, as i mentioned before, it should have enough power to satisfy most people's needs. The critical thing here is that you really do need to pay attention to the manufacturer's recommendation. This receiver is meant for speakers that are rated at six ohms or higher. So that's what you want to stick with

 It has better and more accurate tone. The bass is quicker. The mid-range takes on more of an accurate presentation. The treble is smoother and more refined by direct comparison, it's just a better sounding unit in pretty much every way, but you have to live with this compromise

 So they don't soak up much power from the wall and then they're very small. You can put them just about anywhere, you want in the room and then even beyond that we have distinct sonic advantages. Usually they will sound cleaner. The bass will be more controlled

 There'S much more resolution. It'S a lot more transparent. It has better and more accurate tone. The bass is quicker

Sony STR-DH190 Stereo Receiver Review:  It's Actually Good!

 After a couple of days of putting everything together, I found myself more and more disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's not worth returning, but this is basic. Very basic. My 70's Pioneer stereo was much more robust with better technology (seriously)

 Bluetooth reception works well and also sounds great. It's a great basic little receiver (maybe a little over-priced for what it does).

turn off the stereo, the sound bar turns off. Change the volume on the stereo, the sound bar volume changes. Mute the television, and the stereo also mutes. How annoying!  Connecting to a TV? - I'm still trying to figure that out

I wouldn't buy or recommend this particular receiver.

 So they're, probably i can see this anyway, all right sony, it's a two channel receiver. What does that mean? It has fm tuner yeah fm tuner also has a phono stage. Okay, i think it has four inputs and bluetooth. Okay, it works it's rated at 100 watts times two all right

 So i'm like okay, let's see what you can do. Little sony, inexpensive receiver and i hooked up the elac unifi ub5s a notoriously hard to drive speaker. It'S got low sensitivity, 4-ohm speaker dips below 4 ohms, it's a beast. It'S a beast to drive, it worked
