this is totally audiophile level. You have nice speakers all around, And I think I'm seeing a Denon AVR? You don't need $130k science fiction looking speakers designed in some underground lab to be considered an audiophile lol. In the world that 99% of people listen to music on their cheap earbuds and phones, Anyone who spends even around $600-700 for their music listening is considered an audiophile in my book.

Boy was I wrong. I just picked up a Denon AVR-S750H earlier this week for around $550. Oh my God.

The Denon system is especially BAD when ATTEMPTING TO MAKE ALL SPEAKERS ACTIVE. The Denon receivers are a great system trapped behind a Gawd awful poorly implemented system management interface that should be scrapped. I now rate the Denon THREE STARS BECAUSE THE MANUAL SPEAKER SET UP IS PURE OVERLY COMPLEX MINDLESS TORTURE! The Denon seems to have been made by the best engineers then handed over to the worse interface programmers to ever exist on Earth! The Denon Set Up Interface developers ruining what is otherwise a first class receiver at every price point! ORIGINAL POST I live in a smallish home and as an old man I am not interested in blasting my neighbors out of a sound sleep. I want to play my video games, enjoy my DVD's, have a blast watching Netflix and Amazon streaming

While there is about 8 months left on the 2 year Denon warranty, it's going to cost me >$100 to ship it to the nearest authorized service center whereupon they may or may not decide it's covered by the warranty. The service center said if it's determined to be covered by warranty, they'll likely just send me a refurb unit. If it's not covered by warranty, the service will cost me between $100-200 and may take several months, plus I'll be on the hook for return shipping. At which point I could have probably bought a new, more reliable unit

Don't like it because Denon removed the input / outputs , So you're locked into a Denon with NO share but bluetooth. You have one input on this device with NO outputs for other devices

Very simple and straightforward design, clean dashboard , high end appearance and works wonderfully with our complete Klipsch speaker system. Bluetooth works easy and movies and music are top shelf with this entry level receiver. The built in settings for music and cinema are amazing. We eq'ed the treble and bass up and sit back and relax

Great sound & design for 7.1 with Airplay. Tuned it all up with Audessy. Upgraded from older Denon to get it to work with my phone & Alexa

When I called Denon support they said they would get back to me regarding a resolution to the situation but they never called back. I think Denon makes a good product but beware if you ever need service under warranty where you send it Denon does not respond to customer needs especially in this case where their negligence resulted in a stolen receiver.

Turns out Best Electronics sent me a 760 instead of a 750. Best Electronics is not an authorized Denon dealer and the receipt doesn't match the unit. Denon has refused to provide the warranty service and neither will Best Electronics. Buyer beware
