  I am thinking going with Fins windtamer but I wonder if JX4 would be just as good.  I'll probably go with 20-30 lb braid since these are inshore set ups, I want everything to hold up if someone happens to hook a bull drum or shark and they want to bring it in.  I plan on getting some 4000 reels with medium heavy rods for targeting bull reds and black drum with some heavier braid on my next round of gear buying.

 The best deal for the amount that you're spending um that you could get so i've been fortunate to take it fishing a few times as well, and it's it there's no problems with it whatsoever. It reels extremely smooth. The casting distance is insane. I can just a flick of the wrist and i can launch my bait all the way out there

 I did bring one of my big rods just because i want to put more than two baits in the water just to see if it'll bring them in. So i brought my uh it's the pin pursuit two rod um, but i've got on it. My fenor lethal um - this is a great reel. It'S a 4000 series uh! I got this

 The 7th we've been out here, the fifth. The sixth and now the seventh third day same spot same rig. We did decent the first day we only caught one yesterday and it was just windy nasty. Today it's freaking gorgeous uh the wind's blowing out of the south again, so we're back facing this way

 So i'm gon na try these guys. I'M probably gon na try to stop and get one or two more live ones, but i'm just going to let them die because i'm using for cut bait anyway and we're going to see. If today brings us luck, i've got my dahwa bg 2500s. I'Ve got one

 Water 70 degrees steadily warming back up, we've had so much warm weather a couple videos ago. I think the water was 63 degrees, so it's up seven degrees from then all right. This is the bigger one, a much bigger one yeah. This feels like a much bigger one

 I guess so that that's what model numbers are for now. this reel has I should say this correctly a 5 to 1 gear ratio and it has four bearings and it's made from aluminum so it feels really light. and I also used bread lines so yeah I like I like fishing with bread line over nylon because yeah yeah, just more feeling with the fish but my preference is breaded and I think I used over 120 meters so that's plenty enough for like small fish even for big pike. I think 120 meters is enough I've been using and using a reel for like a couple of weeks now

Now since you're looking at this video, you're probably wondering if you should get the Shimano Sedona 2500. but is it worth your money now? by no means I'm a professional, but I would like to share my experience using this reel with you. Nonetheless, always liked Shimano when it is in cycling or in fishing Shimano generate livers. Really good product and what struck me about this product was the the colors and real just looks amazing

If you're in the market for a mid-budget reel and you're thinking, what are my options, well let's take a look at this reel and see if it's the right option for you right after this. So let's take a quick look at the tech spec on this reel. It has a 5

 Okay, so I've covered the tech specs. I know I've brushed over them quite quickly, but what I need to do is get this reel and test it properly. And when we test our reels, we don't just give them a quick wind and say oh yeah, that's really good in a few casts. You know we take them out in the field and we absolutely hammer them

3 to 1 retrieve ratio. It's 3 000 inside so it's an ideal reel for those looking at lure fishing, light fresh water fishing, and just the occasional use if you you know, chuck in small baits maybe one or two ounces in and around the shore. The drag on this reel is really good and that's one of the things that Shimano were famous for and it's why I always go for one of the named brands, Shimano Daiwa. They've got good drag system

Shimano Sedona. Is this still the best mid budget spinning reel in 2021

 Undoubtedly this new Shimano Sedona Fl reel was cheaper to manufacture this way, but I could not get used to this missing feature. When you have a tough fighting fish, that threatens to break your line, fumbling to loosen the drag should not be your only option. The marketing specification description does not mention this. I have an older Sedona, which I use almost every day, and it does have this feature which has now been omitted

I have been fishing for 65 years. In all my years, having owned many spinning reels, I have never come across a spinning reel without a toggle switch to release the spool. Undoubtedly this new Shimano Sedona Fl reel was cheaper to manufacture this way, but I could not get used to this missing feature. When you have a tough fighting fish, that threatens to break your line, fumbling to loosen the drag should not be your only option

 The marketing specification description does not mention this. I have an older Sedona, which I use almost every day, and it does have this feature which has now been omitted. I would also add, the deciding factors, in my decision to return the reel to Amazon, were the weight of the reel and the stiffness of the bail action.

Caution - may not be what you expect in a good spinning reel.
