I've looked pretty extensively at the best value purifiers in terms of cost to CADR rato and found the winners to be the Coway Mighty AP-1512HH (note: NOT the AirMega) and the Blue air 211+. These models get high ratings from consumer reports and Wirecutter as well. I have 2 of the mighties for our bedrooms and a 211+ for our living room and have been happy with them. 

Looking for some personal recommendations from people running air purifiers in there home because im looking to buy one. Any advice or feedback is welcome

Edit2: Im looking for the best model possible for HEPA filtration and a carbon solution for gas/VOC/odor. that would hopefully work for most of the house. I will eventually add another unit or two to supplement. I&#39;m trying to find the top of the line, best of the best air purifier. Something that blows the competition out of the water and has a solid warranty and build quality. High purchase price is okay.

Noticeable improvement

 I keep mine in "auto" mode and that really works - if any type of particulate matter is introduced to the room (like cigar smoke, for instance) the unit goes into high gear until the air is clean again. I am quite pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend this product.

 The next option here is um sleep mode. So if i press the sleep mode there now sleep mode is activated and what it says in the manual is sleep mode operates quietly by using the lowest possible, fan, speed and i'll. Let you listen to that here and it's pretty quiet. I still do feel a little bit of air flow coming out of the top of the air purifier, so i'm going to turn sleep mode off um

 The air purifier will not filter air and may overheat causing a fire hazard, and then it shows us how to do that here. So let's go ahead and i'm going to flip this over and here is what the bottom looks like and it shows us you know to open and to close so to open we're going to turn it this way and there we go and then you can see Here on the side, um there's an unlock icon. So once you match these arrows up here um, then we can take the top uh or the bottom.   No HEPA filter can work properly if it is undersized to the room, but combining two (or more) small machines in a larger room is an option. Having the internal fan pull in air at multiple points can actually work better than one stronger fan operating to one side of a large or irregularly shaped room. Since my bedroom is larger than the kids', we run two units to reduce allergens there, one one either side of our king sized bed.  This isn't the model to buy if you want it to work alone in a large room, but it is reasonable for most small to moderately sized bedrooms

  I've never bothered with the Smart features on this model. Since I'm trying to reduce allergens where I sleep, I can easily reach the controls. I use the nightlight as I get ready for bed and to walk from the bathroom without bright lights on, then I switch that off and climb into bed in full darkness. For me, this model is perfect

 It has a true HEPA filter 2 trap dust, dander, and pollen. I would recommend this for people with allergies. It is high efficiency. It also connects to Wi-Fi to make easy use of control
