 Your ride will be smoother definitely. As far as the crank set, this is the Shimano crank set, standard comes with it. The pedals are composite, it says quick, I'm not a pro rider so I'm okay with the pedals right now, I don't need to upgrade to metal or anything but they're pretty comfortable as far as the ride goes. The crank set, Shimano, the chain, it's 8 speed obviously, very comfortable shifting

 Had not a single problem, super comfortable out of the box, medium for my size. The frame runs a little smaller than compared to Giants and Specialized so if you're like me between small and medium, I'm like either high end small, high end of the small or the lower end of the medium. So I was perfectly fit in this medium frame on Cannondale. The bike looks really nice, as I said it's super light, hybrid

This is very close up look at Cannondale Hybrid Quick 4 Bicycle. I reveal the standard weight which is not available anywhere. I also show all the components very closely. This is brief review if you are looking at Cannondale bikes to see the quality up close. It is not too long so worth the watch. I am 5' 7" and have no problem fitting this bike in Medium. I can tell it is a smaller medium than compared to Giant and Fuji bikes I tried.
