 After about 1 hour on my old Mr. Coffee, the coffee tasted bad. This does not. One caveat, if you want to keep it hot for more than about 3-4 hours, you should pre-heat the carafe with hot water before brewing

 I think there's some lost aromatics in just the few minutes between grind and brew with a standard set up. Or it could be confirmation bias, as I haven't done a double-blind study.  Versatile. I also am amazed at the difference the grind and strength settings make

 Cost. Upfront cost is high. It was worth it to me, though. When I'm on vacation, I miss it quite a bit

 My use case: Daily 1-2 pots that I share with co-workers, with an occasional post-lunch single 16 oz cup. I tend toward medium beans, and use cold, unfiltered, very hard water. Basically exactly what the manual tells you not to do.  Pros: Amazing taste

 As the brew cycle continues, the level indicator goes from 11 to 10 to 9 . . . down to 5

 But, this comes at a price. The design of the carafe prevents you from easily emptying the coffee completely. There is a rim around the top of the carafe that makes emptying the carafe cumbersome. You have to tilt the carafe completely upside down to get the last of the coffee out

 Initially, I loved this idea because it meant no wasted electricity to keep the coffee warm. And the carafe does keep the coffee warm for more than two hours. But, this comes at a price. The design of the carafe prevents you from easily emptying the coffee completely

Does not live up to the promise. Do NOT buy.

 The flavor is full with the fruity and acidic notes from the coffee slightly more pronounced that you might be used to from a grinder that has a flat versa grind size. consistency is very good, and a reduction in the amount of fines at the bottom of my cup was immediately noticeable compared to something lower end like the Breville Smart Grinder. Pro The grinds produced by these two grinders do honestly look like they're from completely different beans, but they're not. And the way that the shots extract from these two grinders is also night and day

 However, let's take a look at the form factor and features of this particular grinder. When you first impact your new 0, you will install the circular wooden grind tray and then extend only as much power cord as you need from a clever storage system. Three other items are included in the box, a user's manual, a nice wooden grinds, brush, and what has become the somewhat iconic 58 millimeter Niche dosing Cup. Now looks are always subjective, but personally I really, really like the appearance of this grinder

Niche Zero Grinder Review

At the top of conical grinders is the Niche Zero which makes a great coffee with lots of food texture but still less clarity as it’s flat burr counterparts. Most expensive grinders can also be a lot quieter and faster than the Encore which may justify the cost alone. There’s a huge difference in taste between something like a Baratza Encore or Virtuoso and a Baratza Forte.

I bought a $100 electric grinder and I don't regret it because it got me into this hobby. But every day, the teaspoon of fines in my cup reminds me this is temporary. The problem is: I don't know what the difference between a $200, $400, or $600 grinder is. I'll never get into espresso, so I don't know if those $1000+ grinders are even meant for purely drinking pour overs and french press. 

So my question is: For non-espresso drinkers, what is the difference between the price points of these grinders?

 and I think the selection that they've chosen to fix or attempted to fix here, is a very smart selection. For Example,, this is not a grinder trying to fix dosing for you. You are gonna weigh your coffee beans, put them in, grind them, right.? The grinder is gonna do no work to help you dose your coffee, whatsoever
