Buying those same 62 drinks at Sbux would have cost $415 (not count tip I always leave so actually closer to $500 for 62 triple venti Ice lattes at Sbux costing nearly $7 each + tip. So I figure I when just considering supplies I used $30 in beans and syrup and at around $4 per gallon, I have used maybe another $20 in Milk so $50 total in supplies about vs. around $500 for buying the drinks at Sbux including tip means I paying 10% what I used to and have saved $450 ($150 less than I paid for the machine) in a single month on the drinks for me and my daughter. As I started off saying, it does take me 15 minutes from start to finish of cleanup to make those two drinks but it could be half that without cleanup every time but I also never wait in a drive through line

I am using a Kalita carafe for now. -It is expensive. I am not that upset about the price of the brewer itself as that is a one-time purchase, but the filters are possibly the most expensive filters for any brewing system on the market. They are twice the price of Kalita filters and even a bit more expensive than Chemex filters

The expectation for a great tasting espresso is quality water, give our well water source we purchase water for cooking and consumption. Would be nice if there was a better way to recover the dispensed water after use to be reused but since the tray also traps grounds, it's useless for reuse. For now I save this for watering plants.

Using the same amount of coffee as other pour over systems (V60 or chemex), this tastes watered down and bitter! If I put even more coffee in the filter I am sure it would be ok (other than the bitter taste), but why waste coffee if I don't have to and not enjoy the taste? The water runs through way to fast for it to pull flavor, and that is probably where the bitter taste comes from too. I am using fresh coffee beans that I grind right before too, so that can't be the reason it taste bitter. I tried this 2 days in a row just to see if doing different things and using more coffee helped, but it was STILL weak and taste bitter even using more coffee. I won't be using this again, what a waste of time and money!

Due to the deep and steep walls of the brewer, the coffee sits in the water for several minutes until it is done. Thus bringing elements of an immersion brewer to the cup. The coffee is sweet, smooth and delicious! Consistently! Admittedly, there is a learning curve, but once you get it, you'll enjoy the ride. Plus it's fun

The temperature of the latte will be the temperature of the milk. Unless you want to pre-heat the cup before the whole process, you want the milk as hot as possible, but not so hot that it will alter the taste of the drink. Everyday usage: 1. Wait 20 min or so for the machine to pre-heat

I don’t like it. My coffee comes out at 202F and that’s hard to drink. I do appreciate a vessel that can operate as a bit of a heat sink to temper down my coffee. 4
