Blackfire Clamplight Waterproof vs UST 30-Day Duro 700 Lantern

I personally think the extra functions are worthless and it makes you click through all levels to turn it off and on. Still, a great versatile light but the extra steps are a little annoying.

I Don't know if you guys are going to see any kind of flickering or anything like that in the camera. Sometimes video cameras react weird to the light...

Still I thought they were just the batteries I used so the final time (today) I bought all new Duracell batteries and within 1 hour and a half they were so dim I will never use them again!

I really only used the lowest setting in our camper/van because the others were too bright. I'm a bit concerned about battery usage/drainage because I use this lantern only when camping.

It's very bright and between the clip and the stand, it is versatile. My snow blower doesn't have a light but this one clips to the handlebar and nicely lights my path. IT's a very handy light and my new favorite flashlight.

I bought this for our camp kitchen after going through 2 less expensive lanterns from a big box store. It is most definitely bright, but I can speak to the '30 day' claim just yet. I can say this was used on high quite a bit over the course of a cloudy rainy 3 day trip and it did not noticeably dim.
