Super easy to use. No need for cooking spray, waffles slide right out of the ceramic. Everything is great about this waffle maker, except for the mechanism that holds it vertical for storage. That latch thing is kinda flimsy, so I'm subtracting a star for that, but function wise, it's fantastic

Got this for Christmas and used it once (worked okay.. Wasn't the greatest) Tried to use it again 7 days later and all of the non stick coating started coming off onto the waffles. What a waste! Better get a refund!

It must be something to do with the nonstick coating. That's not a good way to sell a product that makes food. I tried washing it with vinegar as first but that didn't help much. I let it sit hot for about 20-30 min then made a couple of waffles that I discarded in case they were contaminated

In all, I am happy with the price performance, do watch for a sale as I have seen the price go up by a third, and other reviewers have mentioned prices close to what I got it for. As a side note, I noticed that America's Test Kitchen tried to review this with a group of others. This item did not even make the first cut as an authentic Belgian Waffle is supposed to be thicker.

In mid-February I paid $40 on Amazon. It wasn't on sale. It's now mid-April and the Amazon price is $69. That's seems like a little more than inflation
