 Honestly, I don't think the Commandante is well priced given the value you get out of it.

 Personally, I would get the Virtuoso+ if you really don't want to deal with hand grinding or you're OK spending extra money for faster grinding -- I would expect hand grinding to take 2-5 times as long as electric grinding depending on your arm strength. I would get the Lido 3 if you want to get the best performance:price ratio and you just want a very good (but not the best) grinder for any purpose. Honestly, I don't think the Commandante is well priced given the value you get out of it.

I want to upgrade my cheap electric burr grinder. It’s easy enough to use but the grind is really inconsistent and I see it recommended basically nowhere. 

I’m deciding between the Comandante, Lido 3, and Virtuoso+. My main brew methods are aeropress, French press, and phin. I could see myself getting into pour over one day. 

I know the Virtuoso+ would be simplest but I don’t mind work for a good cup. Are the manual grinders at this price point that much more consistent? Will I get a noticeably better cup?

Since I switch beans and brew methods rather frequently I’m not sure the Lido is for me since it’s stepless. 

I’ve heard the Comandante can have questionable build quality (lot of plastic) but I imagine it’s fine for normal use. It is hard to find and even their suggested dealers seem to sell it for anywhere between 250 and 350 which is frustrating. 

Thoughts on what grinder would be best for me?
