The Gigabyte M27Q is the best monitor for Mac in the budget category that we've tested. It's a great monitor for most uses, with a 27 inch, 1440p screen, great viewing angles, and an exceptional SDR color gamut. It's very bright in SDR, and the matte anti-reflective coating delivers decent reflection handling, so viewability isn't an issue in most viewing environments.

Eh, for that price I'd rather go with a 32" and somewhat slower 175Hz, like the Asus ROG Swift PG329Q. 27" has so many nice options with IPS panels on 1440p@165Hz going for around 500 bucks, not sure the 240Hz is really worth several hundred bucks upsale. Particularly with the GPU situation being what it is, actually getting those 240Hz at 1440p is already a task in itself in most games.

For the "Response Time" or overdrive mode in the OSD, I found the "Super Fast" mode worked best and didn't introduce any inverse ghosting. The "Extreme" mode should just be deleted from the menu. I couldn't find a single reason it could ever be useful. Overall, the issue of black smearing and ghosting for me has been far far less than I had been led to believe and I don't view it as being a real issue that would prevent you from buying this monitor
