Update 10/2/2018: removing 1 star because the vesa mounting should have had a better solution. MSI should have included adapters with this monitor to make the vesa mounting usable. (one thing I liked about the HP omen 25" was they included a very nice vesa adapter) If vesa is deal-breaker for you I would STAY AWAY from this monitor. It might work for you, it might not

The viewing angles are ok but you might notice a slight drop in quality from different angles, depending on what you’re looking at. The very edges and corners of the screen are slightly dimmer/ darker. This gets worse depending on the angle. However I believe this issue is common with similar panels and I’ve read a handful of reviews that mention the same thing with this model, including in their replacements

This is a big concern for most gamers and this monitor delivers! As you can see from the pictures he watched alot of anime and says the monitor is just okay for picture quality. Most teenagers now a days just watch YouTube and Netflix so this works fine for those 2 watching options. What he likes best is the curve screen and the value. If you are still interested in buying this though, I would recommend investing a little more and buying the 1440p monitor though. Although this one is good for gaming since 1080p is kinda standard, that resolution is quite limiting in terms of media consumption and I always regret not being able to watch youtube or play other games at a higher resolution on the same monitor.
