 I've seen over 2000 megabits per second. If I'm standing in exactly the right street corner, not around the block, or in a building, look, 5g is fine. But it's not the reason to buy this phone. So that is the first way to review the iphone 12 Mini, but it kind of misses the point

 technically. I'll explain. Look, let's just talk about this little sucker. [music] There are a couple of ways that I could do this review

 It just feels so much better to hold. It's more ergonomic. I can even reach the control center panel swipe down thing by reaching my thumb up too without contorting my whole hand. I know that it's not like the itty bitty smartphones we used to get back in the day, and I know it doesn't fold in half like the Z-flip or the Razer, but it is still way more pocketable than most smartphones today, and it manages to do all that without making you give up too much to get a smaller phone

iPhone 12 mini review: the favorite

 Every single part in this phone seems to fully check out to apple or simply have not even been replaced.  I even went farther and logged into my apple support. The phone was first purchased in 2020, and hasn’t had a single pop up there for unauthenticated parts either. Further boosting us into loving the idea that this phone is all Apple

I can’t believe how lucky my boyfriend got.

After 7 months with my iPhone 12 mini, I just couldn't get used to IOS. There were enough little annoyances that added up to me wanting to switch back to a Pixel. I switched to the iPhone 12 mini purely for the size. I thought that there was enough overlap of features with IOS and Android that I'd be able to get used to it, but sadly that wasn't the case for me

Phone came in flawless, 100% battery capacity, and unlocked on the Total Freedom Wireless network. This same network uses other networks that run off of Verizon towers and I’m sure it would work with T-Mobile and AT&T as well. Phone also still has some Apple Care time left on it which is a huge plus! Would buy this phone again if I needed one!

Best value for any dollar

With the iPhone 12 mini, Apple impressively demonstrates that a high-end smartphone does not necessarily have to be big. However, the smaller space also has its limits and forces the Californian's smallest smartphone to compromise on battery capacity in particular. Nevertheless, the Mini manages decent runtimes, although the need for charging will likely be required by evening. 

Conclusion - Simply huge, the little one!

 I've had no real performance issues to speak of, minus the odd Ios bug here and there, and although gaming on a smaller screen like this isn't ideal, it does perform very well graphically. That performance does come at a cost, though. if you push this phone with a lot of gaming or a lot of photo or video recording, the battery will take a hit. That's the biggest compromise you're going to run into if you own the 12 Mini

 Picking up a phone like the 12 Pro not only feels huge now, but it also feels heavy at 187 grams. Like I said, the iphone 12 Mini has very few compromises. I'm not going to go in depth on the specific tech specs of this phone because I've already covered that ad nauseam in my full review, but I do want to talk more about how this phone feels to use and the potential compromises you may run into if you decide to buy this phone. As you would expect from a brand new iphone, performance is top notch

 But in our current state of affairs in the world, these are far from normal circumstances. wearing a mask makes face Id useless, and you're forced to use the passcode unlock. In that scenario, I really do wish Apple started using the under the screen fingerprint readers. Or if they're too scared to use that relatively new tech, throw a fingerprint reading power button in there like they did with the new Ipad Air

 I'm not going to go in depth on the specific tech specs of this phone because I've already covered that ad nauseam in my full review, but I do want to talk more about how this phone feels to use and the potential compromises you may run into if you decide to buy this phone. As you would expect from a brand new iphone, performance is top notch.  So if you get someone moving too quick and the primary camera has a blurry face, it can merge in the faster sharper face from the ultrawide camera into your shot. Automatically, i mean that's, you kind of just never have blurry faces in your photos overall, just as someone who's used now, both of these phones for a couple weeks, iphone's camera system is better than the pixels. It just is right. Now it doesn't it's more consistent

 It has great dynamic range, great stabilization and that big sensor is giving you real background blur and impressively staying in focus most of the time and in some of these harder scenes you can definitely see the processing working like here when it's trying to bring up the Shadows, it's pretty noisy but still overall color and exposure and white balance and the details are all great with the pixel 6's video and i'm really happy to see that and then another thing i noticed the pixel really cranks iso all the way up in the viewfinder. So you can see a lot of noise before you snap a photo and start the processing, like it's very easy to see this here in a screen recording. But that's what it's doing you can see in a selfie viewfinder, especially it'll. Look super jacked up and really noisy just to keep a high frame rate and shutter speed when you're taking the selfie and then you take it and you see it process and then everything sharpens up and it looks miles better

Pixel 6/6 Pro Review: Almost Incredible!

 I figured I'd try the Pixel, having a few friends who love their older Pixels.  The good stuff first:  (+) The camera is truly amazing. I have a professional DSLR and I can say that this is by far the best phone camera I've ever used. The S9 was great, but it had some issues with artifaction and contrast

 I was deciding between a few phones and had narrowed it down to the OnePlus 8T, the Huawei P30 Pro, and the Samsung S21. OnePlus has notoriously awful customer service and the phone wasn't water resistant, so that was a dealbreaker for me, and then Huawei was too expensive and had at least the threat of compatibility issues. I figured I'd try the Pixel, having a few friends who love their older Pixels.  The good stuff first:  (+) The camera is truly amazing

 Pixel's night vision is superb, and in daylight it takes amazing photos with 0.5x (wide), 1x (normal), and 2x (telephoto/zoom). Video is also great and very dynamic as far as features. It's not the fastest, but it is faster than my Samsung, which is nice

 Not sure how they swung this but I guess Google would have it figured out.  (+) Battery life is good. I can get through the entire day of moderate use without charging it until I go to bed. With heavy use, I imagine I'll have to charge it before then, so I'll see how it goes on a few upcoming trips, but my S9 wasn't able to hold a charge past noon on a good day, so it's a huge improvement there

So close, Google! And yet.

I've come to the Pixel 6 from an LG G6, which I really liked. I was happy with the camera, but its OS was dated and the battery was near its end, so it was time to switch. My wife just bought a new Samsung phone, and she wasn't thrilled with it. I'm just a little concerned about the potential for Chinese spyware, and other bad actors on the web, so I'm happy to have the Pixel's extended security and OS upgrades

Still a lot to learn

 It's a better overall camera system. But this, the hardware is so good in the pixels and you can see that promise in those 10 out of 10 shots that the pixel fan in me is like hoping. maybe in one or two software updates it'll be a 10 out of 10 more often. But until then because we don't know if that's ever gonna happen

 I can't get a signal in half the places i go, where i phones, my old pixel 5, and Samsung's have no trouble. Also random disconnects from network. Please ditch Samsung modem on Pixel 7!
