I was a bit hesitant to spend so much on a waffle maker, but my long-standing motto of 'you get what you pay for' overcame me. I also felt a bit odd buying an electric appliance from All-Clad, a company who isn't well-known for appliances, but makes fantastic stovetop cookware. It's made in China FOR All-Clad so those thinking it's USA-made like other All-Clad products may be disappointed. I found this particular waffle maker on the recommendation from Serious Eats

Loved this waffle maker! But today it almost burnt my house down! The timer wasn’t beeping for when it is heated up, so we opened the lid to check it & it was so hot & was making popping sounds! I had to put it in the sink. It set my fire alarms off too! I’m sure this isn’t the norm, my moms has lasted 15 yrs! But I’m so sad mine only lasted 2 yrs… we have taken really good care of it too!

This waffle iron is easy to use and works pretty well. You plug it in and select a ‘brownness’ level and close the lid. It beeps when it is at temperature, you add your batter, close the lid and it beeps again when its done. It has a reservoir at the back that catches overflow batter - you should practice distributing your batter evenly because it is still possible to overflow the sides if you are not careful

Super easy to use. No need for cooking spray, waffles slide right out of the ceramic. Everything is great about this waffle maker, except for the mechanism that holds it vertical for storage. That latch thing is kinda flimsy, so I'm subtracting a star for that, but function wise, it's fantastic

I store mine on the shelf and it makes it easier to move around - Easy setting changes - Easy to clean - Truly non-stick. My old one was wearing thin in that regard - Seldom makes a mess. There's a trough around the waffle making are itself that tends to collect any overflow batter keeping it from spilling out. It must be something to do with the nonstick coating. That's not a good way to sell a product that makes food. I tried washing it with vinegar as first but that didn't help much. I let it sit hot for about 20-30 min then made a couple of waffles that I discarded in case they were contaminated

Bought this All-Clad Waffle Maker because of its size (perfect waffle size for 1 person). Easy to operate & clean & doesn’t take up a lot of room. There are 7 different temperature settings, so can easily customize waffle color depending on personal preference. Like the All-Clad durable design

I was torn between this one, the Oyster one that makes 1 1/2 inch waffles, and the Waring Pro double waffle maker. The latter was like $75-$80 and said it weighed over 10 pounds!!! Which is fine if you want to lug that thing around to your girlfriends/boyfriends house in your overnight bag. I'm single and will forever be alone so I don't have that problem. But still too heavy to take anywhere in my opinion

just lift it off when you are done and the whole mess is right there. Rinse it out and wash it up. Do not put it in the dishwasher however

This waffle maker is the BEST. I have owned this make waffle maker for years, but the plates got so that the waffles just stuck all the time. I bought this one, with the new ceramic stick free plates, and a good waffle maker went to GREAT. No more clean up
