So really great, versatile size. And so, as I was testing the South, the first bag that this made me think of was the larger version of the travel pac...

It fits me fine (keep it tight, as it's meant to sit above your harness), but the torso might be short for exceptionally tall people. I am a medium on most backpack scales, and it's perfect for me, as you might expect. Shouldn't be a problem for small torso people, but it might be worth trying on if you have a very tall torso. The 35 L version has a Large option, so that could be an option

What I really don’t like is the shoulder straps. They are very uncomfortable. The side pockets are useless for holding water bottles. But I really hate the shoulder straps

I would think that if you were going to do a quick overnight in stable weather conditions you'd be good to bring this bag along.

This meant I could easily grab my xbox controller or a snack without having to hoist the bag up into my lap and open the whole thing. -Comfort: Its actually pretty comfortable to wear. I took a hike with this bag on (I know - probably not really what its designed for) - and it worked out perfect. The back is as padded/breathable as you could expect, and the front chest strap helped to keep the bag tight against my chest without all of the weight being squarely on my shoulders

On the back, we've got these nice dual density foam shoulder straps a nice wicking fabric here on the back panel. on the inside of the shoulder straps...

Lastly, I understand the utility of having the cinch straps on the outside of the bag but why are SUCH a pain always having to snap and unsnap them just to unzip the bag. Really wish there was an alternative to this type of design. At the end of the day though, while not perfect, it’s by far the best bag I’ve found so far for long weekend trips. If you purchase this bag I suspect you’ll be very happy

When trying this bag on, it just sat weird on my back(similar to how the model shown is wearing it) and the straps did not feel as if they would be comfortable during a long hike with some weight. The bag might have conformed to me over time, but it just didn't feel as good as other packs I own of similar size and weight.
