 But If you want to go deeper, you can remove the whole panel. The Batteries down here. It's a 48 watt hour battery, and I'm getting a little bit less than four hours of battery life And that's with the screen at 250 nits. It's so depending what you do, You'll be around there

 As one would expect, the laptop didn't perform as well as the souped-up desktop does: everything took longer and it got frustrating at times. I wished I had added a larger SSD, which I've now done (another $100, bringing the total including the additional memory up to about $750). Ultimately, though, I got everything done that needed doing and I'm still impressed with the machine. It may be outdated already, I haven't looked, but I'm happy with the purchase and it definitely kept me sane while the desktop was gone, which my old laptop would not have done

 It moved along pretty well right out of the box, and and with the inexpensive RAM upgrade it positively zips. Again, I can't speak to the gaming capabilities, but I'm really pleased with the performance for my needs. I'll have to add some storage at some point, as I expect many people will, but that's pretty inexpensive these days too.  2) Construction: as the weight would indicate, this thing is solid

The Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition has set the speed bar at the $1,650-or-so price level, though each model has its own issues (Asus has been taking some hits for its liquid metal thermal paste smoking GPUs).

Upgrading from a 8 year old non-gaming laptop, I knew that the thermals and performance were going to be way better but I was still surprised by the results. When playing Apex Legends for 1 to 2 hour sessions, I did not see the CPU go beyond 78 degrees and the GPU go beyond 75. While of course this is not a CPU stress test, the temperatures are adequate enough for me and I did not face any stuttering when playing. 

Portability isn't the strong suit with the laptop. It is heavy at 2.5kg and it won't really fit in 15 inch laptop bags. However, the battery life more than makes up for this

 Since I have been at home since I bought it, it has been plugged to the wall. When unplugged and running in 60hz, windows suggests a battery life of 11 hours when browsing and opening things like word documents. So I would expect it to get around 7-8 hours of normal use. The small form factor adapter on the R6 is quite small compared to other gaming laptops but is a bit dense compared to my old laptop's 90W adapter
