Yotaphone 2

Hisense A5, Yotaphone 3, are both smartphones that use e-ink screens. though they may not be available in your region and don't expect any support or warranty. think Yotaphone don't even exist anymore.

I've still got a Yotaphone 2 which I've used recently as a dumb phone, with extreme power saving on and only the eink screen. Only phone, messages and Yotareader for reading books were available under that power saving mode but it was great, the battery lasted 3-4 days and the size of it I found ideal, the newer phones are huge, including the A5 Pro CC.

Have a Yotaphone 2 (Android 4 dual screen; e-ink on back and regular on front). E-ink side. - uses less power (lots of screen refresh reduces this). - is easily used in bright sunlight (made for it really).

Yotaphone 2 was my first. Pretty okay phone, refresh rate was surprisingly good and it was great for my eyes.

It's not often you come across a truly unique device in the smartphone market, but the Yotaphone 2 is exactly that. Unique.
