 That all up is super easy to clean as you literally just take it out of out of this, take all the individual pieces of apart, easy cleaning, and then because it made soft-serve because it makes officer ice cream. you can't really keep it us officer cuz it'll melt I put it in the container and I put it in the freezer and so this is how it came out and it came with the ice scoop here and you can see right there that it made the the you know the harder serve ice cream. So this was super easy to make. All I had to do was take the ingredients, blend the ingredients together, pour it in the ice cream machine, turn the power button on, set it to the correct setting which was of course ice cream

 I Let it go for an hour and it was that simple. Super easy to make so you know so stop by you know my youtube channel again here soon! I'll be making some more recipes and really getting in there and showing you how to make the different flavors and you know overall I'd say the experience was really great.  To contact Whynter is time consuming and they are “sloooow” to answer - have not heard back from them yet. So my verdict: Cheaply made Chinese merchandise, not worth the money!  I have to amend my review, got it back to 3 stars. Had some back and forth with the manufacturer and they agreed to send me a free replacement. So far it works, let’s wait for another 8 months to see whether it keeps the refrigerant charge

 Now it needs for the same batch at least 1 hour and 20 minutes. I think it looses or lost some of its refrigerant. To contact Whynter is time consuming and they are “sloooow” to answer - have not heard back from them yet. So my verdict: Cheaply made Chinese merchandise, not worth the money!  Yes, Okay, so let's start from the top. This one says from CB Hi my grandkids love ice-cream but I want to switch it up a bit? Can I use your ice-cream makers to make sorbet or gelato? Yeah, Absolutely. Like we just went over anything and honestly a lot of things that you can think of while we're still working on getting recipes for everything out to you guys. you definitely can make them in these units

 Today we made this with strawberries and rum. Those are the base of en so let's try these out. So cheers to a new Year and genesis to Winter! Those are really good. Whoa! mmm I Can literally taste how fresh the strawberries are and you can't even taste the alcohol

 That can be pretty expensive. In my case, I checked shipping rates online and at a minimum it would cost me $70-80 to ship the unit back. Too, the warranty states to keep all original packing material in order to ship back.  Was also concerned about the lifespan of the mixing blades

 They work really well.  They pick up shipping back to them for the first two months. After that, shipping is on the customer. That can be pretty expensive. In my case, I checked shipping rates online and at a minimum it would cost me $70-80 to ship the unit back

 Read reviews of competing models as well to develop a sense of these type ice cream makers. Here's my take.  Made sure to have it stored in final position for at least 24 hours to make sure all fluids are where they were designed to be. Operation of unit is pretty easy

Not bad if you cover your bases

Great product.  Just a few quirks.

Very noisy

 Except for the mystery brand Knox and unavailable warranty information, I do not think you can go wrong with any of the machines listed above. The machines are identical enough that your recipes will have the biggest impact, so you may be better served by being price conscious. To me the Lello is cost prohibitive at $700 and I don't care for the design overall as the efficiency doesn't do much to the end result. Similarly, I do not think the Breville which is $380 as of this writing has any advantages that warrant the price

 All the 2+ quarts makers (Whynter ICM-200LS; Ariete-Delonghi & Gourmia GSI400) feature a power button, a start/pause button, and a menu button. The Whynter ICM-200LS has two additional buttons to increase or decrease time. The two others (Ariete-Delonghi & Gourmia GSI400) have a round knob that you turn to incrementally increase or decrease time. Otherwise the built-in software and the LCD readouts are absolutely identical

  For my money, I think I would lean on the Ariete - Delonghi or Gourmia as they can be had for $199.99 at the time of this review. If the Whynter would be the same price, then it would be a toss up in my opinion. The Whynter has oscillated in price between $260 and $350 over the past year and the Cuisinart is a little more expensive with less features and smaller capacity though a better warranty

5-Quart Ice Cream Maker, Stainless toward the end of the review. The Whynter ICM-15LS and the Knox 1.5 are also identical with their smaller capacity of 1.5 Quarts (though the stickers say litres which I guess is technically about 6% more volume than the Quarts advertised) All these Chinese made units have the same company bringing the UL listing, specs, and design to market from the company Intertek

Whynter vs Ariete vs Gourmia vs Cuisinart vs Lello

 All I need is some fudgey brownie chunks and it would have been perfection. It is super creamy and almost has the flavor of a dark chocolate pudding. I am sharing the recipe with you here. Note: I make all of my icecream using a vitamix

 Then wait. But not for long. Clean up is also a snap. It is very compact compared to what I had expected

 I have not had any batches that have spilled into the cooling chamber. You would need to spend a bit of time cleaning that up since that chamber is not removable. Advice: don't do that.  I generally do not care for things like chocolate icecream and chocolate cake

 I have been pondering various compressor models since seeing them on cooking shows. I never found one that made enough and that was at a price point that I could justify for my needs. That is, until I found the Whynter ICM-200LS.  The machine does have a large footprint but not as bad as one might imagine
