I never thought I would be a scooter guy
I saw this Vsett 10+ and it was surrounded by light and there was a heavenly chorus.... lol! This is the best (and most expensive) impulse buy I have done in my life so far. I am totally stoked about this machine.
Today my vsett 10+ arrived and holy shit it's a beast compared to the cruiser. The stem is rock solid, the torque and top speed incredible, the whole thing is hugely superior to my cruiser. Admittedly it costs more but the difference is night and day.
Have a Segway Ninebot and love it, yet it’s time to upgrade. Budget is around $2,200 dollars and thinking about getting an Apollo Phantom V2. Thoughts? Opinions? Reviews? Suggestions for other similarly priced/performing scooters?
At that price I would recommend you look at the Vsett 10+ from ewheels or revride‘s. Both have a much better reputation for customer support than Apollos shitty customer service.

Is the Vsett 10+ as good as all the reviewers say it is?
Better shocks, the stock ones are too soft, introducing front tire bounce under hard acceleration, basically the suspension is not able to hold the power down on the ground because it's too soft, the best shocks that you can get ( that are also cheap) are the Exa Form 291R, 125mm 1500lbs front, and 165mm rear. ​. Other than that ( if you aren't unlucky like me) the scooter is perfect, it has great power, great range because of the sinewave controllers ( i managed to pull 60km range riding HARD) and it's great looking. On mine i was very unlucky and at 2000km exactly my controller failed, and because i literally had the only Vsett 10+ in romania, i had no parts at stores, i had to wait 1-3 months for the controller, so i ripped out all the stock electronics and i went with the electronics of a dualtron thunder, and while i do have more launch power, i have less top speed and less range because the battery is being used at it's max rating of 80A discharge, and having about 12v of voltage droop when accelerating.

Taming the Beast – Vsett Slide Throttle
My Vsett 10+ is a hill climbing beast. Taming that power to get smooth acceleration into the climb, however, is a challenge – demanding skill, concentration and fast reflexes that takes away from the joy of the ride.
Is the Vsett 10+ as good as all the reviewers say it is?
On the Vsett 10+ : I don't own one myself, but this sub is usually a pretty good indicator for what scooters are reliable and what scooters are not, because people tend to post their problems here, so I can tell you for a fact that GoTrax scooters are garbage! 😅.

It pulls up steep hills with no issues, goes good in the dirt with the hybrid tires, and is every bit as much fun I thought it would be. In an effort to be transparent it did quickly became my backup scoot as I wanted something faster, had more power, and was designed more for street use so I bought a VSETT 10+ as my daily driver. I rode the Yume today and forgot how punchy it was. In gear 2 I took off in the gravel with booth tires spinning.
