The Trezoro Professional Ionic is an all-around great hair dryer, and we think it's the best option for most people. It's easy to use, ergonomic, and delivered one of the best performances in our temperature and airflow tests &mdash; even melting some of the blades on our handheld anemometer at its maximum temperature. It has three different heat settings and two airspeed settings, along with a cool shot feature to round out all of the functions you need to style your hair for any occasion. Also included are two flat nozzles for directing airflow, and the filter twists off easily for cleaning.  
On the downside, the Trezoro doesn't include a circular diffuser, and we found that the filter cap can be harder to remove than some of the other products we've tested. Fingerprints can show on the matte finish, so if this is the kind of thing that bothers you, you'll probably want to do a regular wipedown. Despite this, we don't think you can go wrong with the Trezoro.

If you're looking for a hair dryer that styles and dries without spending a small fortune, the Trezoro Professional Ionic is a solid bet. This lightweight styling tool is easier to wield with a brush in hand than others of its size. It offers a solid range of temperatures, and its two concentrator nozzles make a good pair for drying large areas of hair and styling small sections. Though its two speeds are on the lower end of the spectrum, we didn't find that to hamper this model's drying ability in any way, thanks to the effective concentrator attachments. The matte finish and bumped handle aren't quite as ergonomic as some, but they still offer a good handhold and a secure way to wrap the cord before putting it back in your drawer. 
It's not without a few shortcomings, though. Despite being lighter than many, the Trezoro is still rather bulky and not something we're excited to travel with. With "ionic" in the name, we expected better results when taming frizz, but this dryer proved to be just average. And though the end looks like it should be able to come off to give you access to clean the intake filter, we couldn't actually get it off. Any hair dryer that gets used regularly needs cleaning from time to time. The Trezoro isn't great for all hairstyles, but it's a straightforward model that performs well for a reasonable price and gets our recommendation for its good value.

 The extra 325 watts make very little difference. I have mid-length hair now, and frankly, both dryers get hot, with the Trezoro forcing only a smidge more air. The buttons are nearly identical as with every hand-held hair dryer I’ve owned in the past 20+ years (I sometimes long for push button rather than rocker switches). It is a *little* less noisy

 Perhaps my Trezoro didn’t pass all quality control.  Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase (I never used the cool shot much anyway), especially the long cord, and I’d buy the same dryer again if given the chance.  But do I believe ions shooting at my head will alter my hair drying experience for the better? Did my naturally curly/frizzy hair come out even a little smoother? The first time, yes, but that’s because I spent more time holding my brush and the dryer correctly, sectioned and clipped my hair, and took an extra 15 minutes. From then on, I dried my hair as I always do, using my brush, but not superheating my hair by holding the dryer close, not working on specific sections for lengths of time

 I was impressed by the reviews that showed it helps with flyaways because I live in an extremely humid environment, and can use all the help my hair can get. Bottom line: I’m not sending it back but I’m also underwhelmed after having read the reviews and paid a bit more than a store shelf brand. It’s quieter than my old store model. I purchased this hairdryer to replace the basic store model by Revlon that I had for well over ten years. I was looking at higher end dryers but settled on this mid-price-range model because the reviews were so positive.  I have long hair; about mid back. This is a really good hairdryer and dries super fast. but im a guy and don't like the rose gold or shiny red. Black with something like gun metal or some kind of gray accents would be nice.  Also, I wish it was a little more compact and solid feeling, like a Silverbird

 My hair is extremely thick and wavy so I needed the "extra". Now the main goal of the next couple months and years, for my blow dryer to not catch on fire. We shall see!

It’s a little heavy for me, but I’m 70. However, it’s very sturdy and maybe a little heavy is the trade-off for well made. It’s easy to hold and I love that it’s not “slick” plastic, but has more of a rubbery feel. My Black Orchid diffuser fits nicely and easily on it

  • I did not want to spend over $75. That is because I HAVE spent as much as nearly $300 on blowdryers in the past! They all worked pretty much the same! The most expensive one that I purchased came from a friend who was a well known Boston hairdresser and she bought me a hairdryer through her professional account. It did not last very long, although longer than others.

. The hairdryer itself is very classy black with a soft, tactile, and trendy black finish.  This doesn't have a retractable cord.

.I wanted something that looked elegant in my bathroom!  * I wanted a cord that didn't get tangled up and was originally looking for a hairdryer with a retractable cord.  I settled on this one and it is a gem!  Here's what I bought and why I gave this hairdryer 5 stars:  I plugged it in and immediately it sounded very soft to the ears. It sounded like a far less powerful hairdryer than what I thought I had finally purchased

After hours of search and comparison, I settled on this...and SO glad I did!

 That way I could blast deep into my locks and dry my hair evenly at all depths. This fits the bill.  - As far as the weight and size go, the first thing I said to my family nearby after pulling out of the package was, "Whoa! Look at this chonkin' dryer. It's huge! Here, heft this chonker!" So take that as you will, lol

 The handle itself is very large, like the rest of the dryer, and has a strange gentle hump on the back of it. Holding it like a explosive projectile accelerator, with the wind nozzle pointed towards a target of some kind, the handle felt a bit weirdly shaped, but not uncomfortable. However, when I tried holding it backwards, as I usually do when drying my own hair, so that my thumb was resting on the button side, the shape seemed to make a lot more sense in my hand. I can pretty reliably use all of the controls with my thumb while in the middle of drying

First thing's first, this is a relatively heavy and large dryer. That's likely due to them packing it with so much more raw power than others I've researched. The low wind mode is more powerful than the high wind mode on the last hair dryer I use, which has since gone kapoot, hence my buying this one to replace it. I'll outline a couple details about this dryer below

 I think I'd prefer a non-ionic version, simply because I want more volume, but the differences don't bother me enough either way to consider this a con or a pro. The difference is subtle, at least for me. Also, if I'm correct (or lucky) in how the ionic emission thing works, then turning down the heat but keeping the wind power up should lower it's ionic performance as well, but that would increase drying time a bit.  - I can dry my hair with this blower on high heat and high wind in around 3-5 minutes if I am efficient about it (my hair is about 6in long at the moment), though I'll note I never dry my hair completely
