 Infrared can penetrate and so what it does is it kind of goes right through the cuticle of the hair and dries it from the inside out. So that does a couple things. One, it dries your hair way way faster, and two, it doesn't make your hair curl up near as much. I Wouldn't say it's a complete replacement for a flatiron, but it's pretty close and that's a big deal because it saves you a ton a ton of time

 Aside from that, - it's built very well. It's very lightweight, it looks good I mean it has a good feel in the hand and I guess that's why they call it the wait lists, but in my opinion, it's really a game changer. When it comes to hair dryers, there's really nothing else out there comparable. There's other ones that do kind of the same thing, but they don't work near as good as the Rusk and for that reason I think it's the best hair dryer in the world, hands down

Guys on the Rescue Engineering Weightless 2000 watt hairdryer I Hadn't seen too many reviews on this so I thought I'd Just kind of give you guys my two cents. It's gonna based off my experience and let you know what I thought about it should mention too

 When it comes to hair dryers, there's really nothing else out there comparable. There's other ones that do kind of the same thing, but they don't work near as good as the Rusk and for that reason I think it's the best hair dryer in the world, hands down. RUSK Engineering W8less Professional 2000 Watt Dryer - Review 2019

  Like other users, she did find that the switch configuration on the Rusk was such that she kept hitting the switches during use, which is a pain. It's too bad, because I suspect the actual switches are likely to last longer than the switches on most dryers we've used. But because they're placed right where fingers grip the device, that advantage is lost.  My wife's bottom line was: "I wanted to love this hair dryer

 No doubt the Rusk would dry faster on high heat, it just wasn't practically useable for her.  The other selling point of the Rusk is its weight. On our kitchen scale the Rusk weighs in at 13.75 oz, which is markedly lighter than most full-size hair dryers but couldn't beat the 11

 But because they're placed right where fingers grip the device, that advantage is lost.  My wife's bottom line was: "I wanted to love this hair dryer. But it is not worth $80 against the Revlon's $20." We're returning it today

I think for someone who blow drys everyday and/or travels a lot this hair dryer might be worth its price tag as this one is very lightweight as opposed to being lightweight.  Otherwise I have found that inexpensive $15-$20 do a comparable job for a fraction of the cost.  This thing was just as loud as my inexpensive hair dryer. My inexpensive hair dryer has multiple heat and air volume settings, a cool shot button, a concentrator too - so this one isn’t unique in any of those things

  For your reference, I have very fine, layered, waist length hair and I blow dry about 1x/week. And I am very particular about taking care of my hair.

 I suppose if you have big hands AND death grip the handle you would end up pushing the buttons though.  As far as hair shine, imo, a person’s diet and haircare routine contribute to hair shine A LOT, LOT more than what hair dryer they use. Not worth the price tag

The hair dryer works well but when it arrived the back cap (filter) was missing. I had already sent back two other dryers (brands) so I’ve kept this but it was missing parts

 With very long hair and the time it takes for a newbie like me to style, the feather light build makes a huge difference. The only complaint I could find on the dryer was the fit of the concentrator tip. Some have mentioned that it tends to fall off. This has has happened to me a couple of times, although only after I hit the concentrator on my scalp or bumped the dryer on the wall by my vanity

 My blowout lasts for days. The heat settings (although there are just 2) are perfect. Cool enough to avoid burn or discomfort and yet warm enough to be effective. Only 2 speed settings as well but I have also found this to be more than adequate

I never thought I would pay so much for a hair dryer. Typically I would expect to pay $30 or less. I am almost 40 years old and have very thin, frizzy hair that almost wants to have some wave. I color my hair and typically let it air dry because blow dryers that I have used in the past tend to make my hair dry, brittle and frizzy

 I have decided to grow some length to my hair and get a new haircut so I have been motivated to put in more effort to get the most from my current style and color. I read many reviews and watched many youtube videos for tips and instructions. I have used this tool three times-once on my daughter who has thick, virgin slightly wavy hair, and on myself with a round brush. I can not believe the difference this styling tool has made! This eliminates frizz and really gives hair body if done properly

Yes, it is worth every penny

  It's not super light weight, definitely heavier than my $25 Revlon hair dryer- but its also much more powerful and slightly more compact. A trade that seems worth it so far. I will update after having this a bit longer. Except for the open box- I'm pleased with the product so far

Nice Blow Dryer... But was it used?

 I like it a lot, but it would be better if it weighed less than it does. Or at least had the weight more evenly spread out. The drying time is good, but I would prefer the Deepshine dry. It's the same size as most other hair dryers, so if you're looking for smaller, this isn't it

Great hairdryer but a little heavy

Have purchased this hair dryer for years. Its lightweight, easy to change heat settings and works great on fine hair. I use lowest heat so it takes longer, but no static or frizz. This one does have an annoying whistle when it runs, but still works well

The W8less hair dryer is much lighter than the Speed Freak but not as hot. I actually have both. For travel, when I travel I prefer to take my own hair dryer and the W8less is great for that.
