If you've browsed this sub at all, you'll have seen that the best thing you can do is use an ethernet cable instead of using a mesh system. My suggestion would be to get the TP-Link ER605 as a router and then two TP-Link EAP245 access points one for downstairs and one for upstairs. Then you can put the ISP combo box into full bridge mode and let the purpose-built equipment do what it was made to do. You'll need to run an ethernet cable from the router to the upstairs spot that the other access point will go, but the effort will be so worth it.

Hoping to use this for the office, the Omada suite of hardware and software is very similar to the Unifi system and more readily available and cheaper. Got this router and the EAP610 and Switches. It was easy to setup, the controller software (installed on synology using docker) adopted the hardware...

I got the TP-Link one from Amazon for 12 bucks. Works like a charm and I can stream all my 4K hdr remuxes that peak over 100mbps no problem
